Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Netherlands1. The light above the minibar that kept on shining during the night. This could only be turned off when you took out the card for general power but then you couldn’t power up you telephone… 2. There should also be bread slides be made available in the restaurant to have a proper backed egg eaten.

United KingdomIt took me a while to realise you could order cooking utensils through the room tablet. Not a big deal but would have been good to have this explained. Location does not have a lot of restaurants nearby
Very stylish, staff were very friendly. Helpful when I asked for a new pillow. Close to public transport and many different sites.

United StatesNot the ideal location for tourists because the hotel is in a commercial neighborhood. But it is incredibly close to the Philharmonie, where we were going to hear concerts. This is a serious plus. The food in restaurant Qiu was terrific. However we found the 35 euro per person charge for breakfast a little high since we generally have only coffee and bread or toast for breakfast, so we had breakfast at a coffee shop across the street. I would definitely stay there again!

GermanyCleaning staff only does the bare minimum. Fridge is not cold. Kitchen has cooking plates, but no pans, plates or even coffee machine, so I is useless.
Great rooms, spacious and clean. Rooms are quiet. Perfect location. Staff was really professional, friendly and helpful. Easy to park the car in the connected garage.

NetherlandsI would of expected for this level of hotel to have a decent coffee machine., especially considering the kitchenette area offered in the studio. They offer sachets of instant coffee. On my first night when trying to connect to wifi I was asked to fill in a questionnaire. I mentioned this issue and was called immediately by the front office. The next day there was a coffee machine in the room with pods waiting the fridge. Unfortunately I could not get it to work as the machine was an older model that I'm not familiar with but I thought the service was exceptional. I still think the hotel should still consider switching the instant for machines as I believe most travellers these days would like a decent cup of coffee in the morning. The bed mattress was a little soft for my liking but that is a personal preference.
I stayed here with my son in one of the studio type rooms and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, light, bright and had more than enough space for us during our stay. Considering the hotel is situated along a busy road, the room was very quiet, we were not disturbed by other guests or the road outside. The hotel is very well situated with many sites a short walk away. There is a main train station, metro station and bus stops minutes walk away from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The air-con worked very well and was needed as during our stay it was very hot in Berlin while we were there. House keeping were also very good. We didn't eat breakfast here as we are small eaters in the morning.

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything not to like. If I was being very picky I’d say a walk in shower rather than a bath with a shower in it would have been nice - but that’s only because my knees are a bit creaky and my balance isn’t brilliant.
reception staff were really friendly and helpful. We really appreciated being able to leave bags at the Mandala on our last day because we had a late flight back. The breakfast and breakfast room were outstanding - a great choice of food and a beautiful setting. There are lots of great eating places within a 5 -10 minute walk. We particularly enjoyed the Paulaner, a Bavarian bar/ restaurant around the corner, the Viet Bowl and an Israeli restaurant called Wielands. The hotel bar is also a very pleasant environment. I would choose to come back to this hotel on a future visit - it was comfortable and quiet and the studios are so spacious.

We had a great stay in this hotel. The room was very clean and nice to stay at, quite roomy space. The location is incredible, very close to the city center and few public transport stations for multiple lines, so it was quite easy to just go anywhere in the city. A lot of shops and coffee places are available nearby as well.

United StatesWe unfortunately had an incident when someone from housekeeping came into our room at 8am without knocking or announcing himself despite the signs that the room was occupied and not to disturb. The staff looked into it and were apologetic. Not sure if it's cultural (we're from the US) or post COVID times but I was surprised we were not offered anything in compensation for what felt like an egregious error. Yes, housekeeping may knock and come in while you are in the room, but it was actually scary for 2 women to have someone unlock our door while we were asleep (it was then that we also realized then that the inside manual lock was not a deadbolt, but opens with the key card), and for them to open and shut the door unannounced. My paranoid mind assumed someone slipped in. Again, they were apologetic and checked to make sure it was housekeeping that entered.
Very spacious room, clean and cozy, big walk in closet space so we could keep our luggage out of sight. The service was great and check in was quick. I found that the hotel felt classy and upscale without feeling uptight or exclusive. We had breakfast a few days, and the service was great there too. I was surprised there was no iron in the room until I discovered a laundry room on our floor with washer, dryer, and area to iron. Very useful while traveling multiple cities in Europe! We had tapas at QUI on our way out, very delicious! We opted not to get our room cleaned one day and took advantage of 2pm check out. Loved all these touches and more.

United KingdomUnfortunately, I fell ill with food poisoning (not because of the hotel, I hasten to add). When I asked for some dry toast, they could not help as it was not part of room service. I did get the mint tea I asked for though.
It has a brilliant location as it is very close the the underground and overground stations. Plus there are interesting museums in walking distance.

United KingdomA small moan. The coffee in the room wasn't replenished for the following day. As an early riser it would have been nice to have had a coffee in the room on the final morning.
Breakfast was good, if a little pricey (€30). The restaurant setting and layout was really nice. Staff were excellent and very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. Nice bar on the first floor.
