Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomUnfortunately despite requesting twin beds (for myself & 21yr old son) we were given a large king size bed to share, one other issue was no ironing facilities in the room, we rang reception to request an iron to the room & after waiting 20 Minutes rang again to be told they couldn't say how long & they would text housekeeping. We waited a further 10 minutes then had to leave wearing creased t-shirts as we had a flight to catch. I told reception on checking out about both issues & received a verbal apology.
The interior of the hotel is very smart & clean, the room was a big size & again very clean, the bed was comfortable & the shower was also very good.

PolandOn 12th of May I have left my AirPod in a room and realized it about 1 hour after checking out and I immediately called them. I am one hundred percent sure that I left it in bed and also location was showing my one earphone in Titanic Chaussee. I was trying to contact them several times all week after leaving, they said nothing was found. A bit upsetting and unprofessional that not a single staff member with whom I spoke humanely showed any interest in finding my lost item.

SpainCarpet flooring in the rooms is not great for people with dust allergies. I arrived during shift change, and the person doing the check-in clearly wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible, and did not volunteer any information about the spa or other services.

Location. Staff very friendly. Facilities. Room exceptionally clean. Fantastic Italian restaurant, we eat there twice. Great variety of food at breakfast. Highly recommend the fresh omelette made to order at the live cooking station.

GermanyFor the price, I'd like to have more proper amenities in room. There's only all-in-one which is also attached to wall that you need to squeeze every time. And even after cleaning ours were not refilled. Houskeeping changed soon after I called though.
Located very close to Ubahn subway station and also tram staion. Room was clean, generally very comfortable and spacious. Staffs are nice.

Great hotel; great location, fun decor, great buffet breakfast. However, a serious warning to all those booking through Booking.crap: ‘ shuttle’ is not that, it is a private taxi company which couldn’t care less if it leaves you in the lurch, at the airport, late at night, with two large suitcases. So if you are offered a ‘free shuttle to the hotel’, don’t believe it for a second, be prepared to make your own way to the hotel, when you’d been looking forward to the shuttle bus all week, but it didn’t appear. I’m a highly experienced world traveler and this has to be one of my worst ever let downs. They have refunded me my taxi fee of £58 but it was stressful to spend my first evening of the holiday emailing and explaining this experience. Clearly not able to deliver a decent travel experience. Will be closing my booking.com account.

NetherlandsMy shower drain was a bit clogged so it filled up the tray quickly, so that would have been nice to have fixed/noticed by housekeeping staff. Line for check-in was long on the day I arrived. A bit loud by the elevators. Would have been nice to have some silverware in the room, I ate some meals in the room and had none. And Kleenex or body lotion would have been nice to have provided too.
Room was nicely designed, I liked that there was additional seating and room for me to put my clothes and suitcase, and lots of shelves in the bathroom for my stuff. Nice to have option of AC or window open too.

United KingdomTwo beds together instead of a double bed as it was stated on Booking.com. The AC worked well except on the last morning before I left when it wasn’t working. The shower was not draining well. The cleaner woke me up at 9am on the only day I forgot to hang the ‘do not disturb’ sign at the door.
Looks even better than in the pics. The AC actually works unlike many hotels in Germany. Underground station right at the hotel’s door. There’s a bar, pattiserie , restaurant and gym at the hotel. The gym can be used until 23h. The sauna and swimming pool as well but it’s costs €20 per day, even if you want to use it for 1h.
