How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Some of the staff were friendly and helpful but there were some who were really not welcoming. There was confusion over my booking because I extended a business conference booking to add nights for the weekend. My family joined me and this caused the front desk to struggle when they arrived to check in. Our room keys then stopped working and the maids came into our rooms expecting us to check out. This happened twice in both of our rooms. Also the gentleman at the restaurant when arriving for breakfast was at best rude when we arrived and hadn’t pre paid.
The standard of the decor was good, very clean and well maintained. Location was close to transport links for the underground and trams. Can walk to several very good restaurants.

Really friendly staff at checkin and breakfast. Excellent breakfast every morning and really good selection of food. Was there for half marathon in April. Bar staff really friendly too. Nice area to relax in. The restaurant was great too, super attentive and friendly staff and spacious seating area with nice menu. The indoor pool and sauna is great to relax in both before and after race. Great location and near subway.

The spa experience. Although the spa was alright all things considered, I thought it was included in the price of the hotel (and it wasn't). That's okay, but when I then booked to go it after my gym it was really hard to get some sort of slippers and bathrobe to be able to get back to my room. It just felt clunky and separate from the hotel.
Room was really good and overall the place was in really good, new condition. Was easy to take conference calls on the hotel Wifi. I really also liked both the gym facilities and the breakfast.

Unfortunately despite requesting twin beds (for myself & 21yr old son) we were given a large king size bed to share, one other issue was no ironing facilities in the room, we rang reception to request an iron to the room & after waiting 20 Minutes rang again to be told they couldn't say how long & they would text housekeeping. We waited a further 10 minutes then had to leave wearing creased t-shirts as we had a flight to catch. I told reception on checking out about both issues & received a verbal apology.
The interior of the hotel is very smart & clean, the room was a big size & again very clean, the bed was comfortable & the shower was also very good.

On 12th of May I have left my AirPod in a room and realized it about 1 hour after checking out and I immediately called them. I am one hundred percent sure that I left it in bed and also location was showing my one earphone in Titanic Chaussee. I was trying to contact them several times all week after leaving, they said nothing was found. A bit upsetting and unprofessional that not a single staff member with whom I spoke humanely showed any interest in finding my lost item.

No coffee or coffee machine in the room. But it is a small detail :-)
Amazing hotel with friendly staff. Location is very good. You Will be very close to many cool areas in Berlin. Good and safe parking (cost around 25 euro or. Day) to our Car next to the hotel and there was also electric charging for the cars (cost around 0,60 euro). May 2024

Carpet flooring in the rooms is not great for people with dust allergies. I arrived during shift change, and the person doing the check-in clearly wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible, and did not volunteer any information about the spa or other services.

The U ban was out of ourder and therefore the location wasn´t good enough. The bathroom door was very heavy to moove.

We were put off from using the spa due to the fee. I think as a guest of the hotel it should be included in the cost.
Location. Staff very friendly. Facilities. Room exceptionally clean. Fantastic Italian restaurant, we eat there twice. Great variety of food at breakfast. Highly recommend the fresh omelette made to order at the live cooking station.

For the price, I'd like to have more proper amenities in room. There's only all-in-one which is also attached to wall that you need to squeeze every time. And even after cleaning ours were not refilled. Houskeeping changed soon after I called though.
Located very close to Ubahn subway station and also tram staion. Room was clean, generally very comfortable and spacious. Staffs are nice.

I booked a double, but was assigned a twin which was disappointing. The spa looked lovely, but the pool and pool area were quite cold and there was a very disruptive group using at the same time who were not asked to keep the nuisance levels down.
Lovely room, I liked the style and comfort.
