No air conditioning in room, air may get too warm in the summer. The hotel is mainly for families, so expect crowds of children. Especially the pool can be very crowded. I would have put the gym out of the basement, for a better view when running (the hotel is in a vantage position, it’s a pity you can’t see anything from the gym). The price for the parking is too high: you are not in Manhattan… the parking was half empty, and could have been twice the size, plus it is uncovered. Therefore I can’t really see the reason for such a high price.

Nice resort for families and for relaxation. Roomy common areas. Many complimentary activities like movies and games for the kids. Nice indoor pool. Very good breakfast, high quality and much choice. Nice gym with basic training gear and cardio area. Big parking. Interesting iconic architecture from the GDR era, inside refurbished to a good standard.

Half-board option where you have to pay additionally for any drinks during the dinner (and it was not stated anywhere before booking). The food was not of a restaurant level for dinner. Paid car parking at site is a strange solution for a resort like this. Basic rooms are really small.

The location, the number of free and paid entertainment and sport activities for kids and adults. The cleanliness and overall service. The swimming pool. Good breakfast. No additional charge for kids. It is really possible to arrange late checkout with quite reasonable surcharge. Wifi coverage is really good for the whole area of the resort.

Several things were not working, too bad because for the rest our stay was great. Gamesroom several machines not working (both pinball machines and cargame). In the fitness room the 2 cross trainers defect. Bathroom ventilation not working.

The service provided by the staff was great. Very friendly, quick with solutions. Great breakfast, lots of choices. Much to do for young kids. We liked the fitness room too.

Hotel is looking a little tired in placed so a refresh / refurb may be required.

I never liked the pillow cases, very bad quality. Most bathrooms have no filter to bring in fresh air so after showering the room would be very misty . For the 3 nights the roomed was not cleaned, only change of towels once and dustbin change once, and with small children diaper waste change should be atleast once day.

The Breakfast and Dinner was excellent The swimming pool water temperature was very good especially for kids and infants. The kids playing rooms well equiped. I liked that one could rent strollers and other stuff if need be for long walks. I would recommend the hotel for other parents and also everybody who likes fresh air and nature.

The waffle holders should be cleaned by staff every once in a while because the guests Sontheimern own waffles and it tends to spill a lot. Bread was a little cheaper in quality.

Breakfast was good, pretty standard, the kids buffet is a good idea though.

Our biggest issue is with the cleanliness all around. The room wasn't really cleaned well. There was smudginess all around and they really should clean the rooms better. The play room for kids was very dusty as well and this is really a place you want to have clean where the kids play. The bathtub did not hold the water.

The breakfast is really nice and having a pool in the hotel is very convenient. There are some good activities for the children. The location is good for walking trails. The restaurant in the hotel serves good food for a fair price.

It was too crowded. Many of the Corona rules didn't make any sense. The swimming pool was quite small (in the picture it looked much bigger) and old. The kids buffet didn't have many "popular" food options that any child would eat (e.g. french fries, pasta, rice, etc.) The bathroom was tiny.

The indoor playground was very good. The minigolf was also very good and fun. There were many possibiities of playing with the kids in the outside area of the hotel. There are a lot of cool places that you can visit in the region.

Lovely, clean and spacious hotel. Nice, comfortable rooms, good bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Excellent bar and restaurant area, great outdoor space and seating area. Massive carpark. Within walking distance from village.

The room was a bit smaller than we expected. The rate however was reasonable so cannot complain a lot. The language was a bit of barrier for us as most staff was well verse in German and not many other languages.

The location was incredible and so was everything else in the hotel. There were lots of activities to be done by both kids and adults. We as a family enjoyed many events including laser shooting, pool, chess game, play area and general walk around the hotel. The breakfast was very wide, with a special area for kids to take their own breakfast (everything was at their eye level). A real family experience. Wish we had taken it for longer duration.

we were there every year before covid, staff were nicer.. now nobody speak english, lady at dinning room said, you are in Germany so why i should speak english! (we understand german just we dont speak fluent) the rooms were not vacuumed, they were “cleaning” rooms every 2 days by just asking “do you need something” not actually cleaning the room. Food is worse than 2 years ago, less to choose from, less quality, we were waiting for drinks at dining room everyday for at least 20 min, few times we already finish our diner before getting the drink. plates were not clean… like forks… you need to pay for hotel parking! they should made it that if u stay there few days parking is free… before covid was free! storage for bikes and skies are bad, outside, no cameras, everybody can come inside! no control at all! disaster! no body smiles, you dont have feeling that you are welcome there… we always loved it but in this covid time they lost everything. sad. and so on and so on….

Paid parking, was NOT there before. Reception staff member claim my voucher was a fake! luckily I had the original booking paperwork (covid) Oh Booking.com did not give me a refund! nor did the hotel. Note to self! do not use booking.com again. Free dinner was not free. Free Breakfast was NOT free as had to pay tax on Breakfast around 40 euros. Swimming pool had to be booked days in advance. Went for dinner, assistant staff member said I have 800 customers come back later? Will not be visiting again.

Clean room and good location. Some staff were friendly but over worked. Good forest views.

Breakfast room is very crowded and hard to avoid some particular situation that someone does not really behaving to follow the general rule of COVID-19. (But it seems that the Hotel is doing their best to organize the measure for COVID-19.)

There are a lot of playing opportunities for child. Also Breakfast provides a special space for child that they can take some food and drinks by themselves - that is fun.
