We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesI personally didn’t like the one small and flimsy pillow. The pillow case was twice as big as the pillow itself.
The check in after regular reception hours was very convenient and very easy to use. The location is near the train station and in the old town placing the hotel in a walking distance of every important landmark.

United StatesIt was very warm when we stayed and our room was hot. It couldn't really be helped. If the hotel had air conditioning it would have been a perfect 10/10!
We liked breakfast, the bed, the bathroom, the natural light, the mini fridge, our desk, how nice the staff are. We made ourselves right at home. We originally chose to stay at this hotel for its location near the train station.

United KingdomHotel was 'shut' on Sunday after 3pm so check in was by accessing safe on outside wall and letting yourself in. Nonetheless this went smoothly. This also meant no restaurant food in hotel, but restaurant nearby.
Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable room. Restaurant White Lamb within walking distance (very close). Close to quaint town and shops. Parking in underground car park adjacent to hotel at a reduced rate (ticket validated at reception) Opposite train station so if staying for longer could go on a train trip to other towns.

Superb hotel, clean, modern, new. The bedroom was much larger than I expected with a propoer work desk area and large bathroom with shower over bath. THe bed was comfortable and the room cosy despite its size. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I did not eat or have breakfast so I cannot comment. The hotel is situated very close to the centre of town - a short walk.

United KingdomOnly couple of points: They stayed here during the heatwave, and said it would have been great to have air-conditioning. They also would have liked some tea/coffee facilities in the room, additional to the options during breakfast.
I did not stay here personally, but we had multiple rooms booked for family to stay during our wedding. I'm passing on their (very positive) feedback; great rooms, very clean, great location. Breakfast was very good too. Also, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and supported us during different re-bookings and changes which was very much appreciated!

CanadaWhile there is more than enough task lighting (bathroom, desk, bedside, by the door), the rooms could use an overhead light or a brighter LED lamp for optional general lighting at night time. However, this is a small point that would not stop me from staying there again.
Comfortable rooms (as pictured on the website), excellent breakfast buffet and well located in a charming city across from the train station and in the downtown area, close to shopping, the market, dining and pubs. Easy to access by train or by car. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am a repeat customer.
