Check in too slow. Safe closed when I entered the room. No phone in room to contact reception. No minibar. No airco.

Mix up with the booking meant I had to pay for an extra night. Not informed re building work and no parking facilities. Had to park at local hospital €30 per day

Clean and comfortable rooms

Beds are a little uncomfortable or pillows too soft. There was a bad smell in the bathroom at times. I also flooded the bathroom once as the curtain let out the water.

Breakfast was great. All you could want and very tasty. Location is fantastic. Rooms are very spacious.

Receptionist on the front desk was not friendly. I was not able to call the Hotel in the weeks before the staying. The online payment did not work and it was not my fault.

The furniture is a little bit outdated, the accessories are generally cheap but they work and there is no refrigerator in the room.

The hotel is in a very good location, at the end of the shopping street and close to the train station. The reception desk was open non-stop. The rooms were large, the linen was ok, the room was clean. There was a water heater for tea and instant coffee. There is central heating which works OK at night.

The furniture was very old and the fabric looked dirty. Also the carpet, maybe 20 years ago it was nice... The room in general had a strong old house smell.

The bed was confortable. The location is excelent.

- the curtains should easily cover the window - enormous street noise when the window is open (it’s okay if the windows are closed)

I was informed at check-in by the hotel staff that my room would not be cleaned unless I asked for cleaning service at the reception. On three different days, my room was cleaned, even though I did not ask for it to be cleaned. On one of these occasions, my belongings were moved by the cleaning staff, and I found some of my belongings on the floor when I returned to the room. There was also a bottle of mineral water in the room that apparently cost 4 Euros, but there was no information anywhere in the room about this cost. The actual bathroom was fine, but was not as shown in the photos.

Room was spacious and clean. Location was central. WiFi was reliable. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Lobby was clean. Shower gel and soap gel for washing hands were provided in the bathroom. The hair dryer was good.

We liked everything about the stay. Rooms are a little dated but very clean and have all of the facilities that we need. TV had bad reception and fuzzy screen. I’m being picky there though.

Fish tanks are fantastic and well maintained with very healthy happy fish. Entrance lobby is very grand and staff are helpful and readily available. Location is only 10 minutes walk from train station and city centre.

The hotel was a little bit noisy, if someone walked by in the hallway. But not to much inconvenience. The coffee and tea available in the room was very little, not even enough for the amount for the amount of people we were with and we did not get any refills during our stay.

We loved the esthetics of the place . Great location near to some very nice restaurants and walking distance from shops. Parking at the hotel (very narrow parkingspots). Room was cozy and spatious. Breakfast amazing! Staff very friendly and kind.
