Room somewhat basic and tired, have seen even youth hostels that looked fresher. Duvet thin, noticed the equally thin extra blanket in the closet too late. Curtains thick but bright morning sun comes in anyway, lighting up the room. Exterior of hotel looks depressing and old, 70s style. Shame considering the nicely decorated entrance area and super friendly staff. Many people smoking right behind the reception area, at the back of building, making the hotel entrance smell of smoke; should be asked to keep a distance from the hotel.

Staff were very friendly throughout, and went above and beyond to accommodate my wishes. Coffee & local guidebooks and coffee table books about Berlin available at reception. Single room spacious and clean, with ample room for baggage, and a closet. Good selection for breakfast, bright and airy conservatory to enjoy green views even on a cool day like when I visited. Free local newspaper. Non-dairy options on request, great extras for breakfast such as locally produced spreads and jams. Various cereals, including home-made healthy granola. Location is convenient for public transport. Malls, post office, supermarkets, drugstore, all in walking distance. Swedish church & café across the road. Good shower, radiators controlled individually, no noisy central AC/heating system. Windows open for fresh air.

Staff a bit too reserved and other guests not very open, tea making facilities not very nice (powdered milk), random table in the garden with old tablecloth on it made it unpleasant to sit outside. No smoking on own balcony

Because of new year eve, my room wasn't cleaned, the hotel warned about this at the location. Still it was a very nice accommodation, I would book it one more time.

The decor was a little dated and there want a safety deposit box in my room but other than that, I was extremely happy with my stay.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the room and shower were exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and ameneties were sufficient. A great selection for breakfast in the morning.

Difficult to fault it as they were helpful but having the lift out of action for over 4 nights was something that should have been fixed more quickly or the guests should have been informed about in advance.

This is a welcoming hotel with well-managed staff and a friendly feel. The breakfast was quite unique and healthy with in-house produce. Due to mobility issues we were upgraded to a lower floor, which was appreciated. The location was handy for the U-Bahn and a 30 minute stroll took us to the Ku'damm. Some local restaurants were worth investigating. We would gladly return to this hotel.

At night can hear some noise being on the second floor and no parking around premise only very narrow street parking.

Wi-Fi could have been better in the room (on the third floor), but this is a common problem in ALL hotels, so that is rather a minor point. People chatting loudly in the street below at night, which meant I had to sleep with the window closed, but again, this is to be expected in a major city when your room is on the street side, so it's not exactly the hotel's fault.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly and attentive staff in the breakfast room and on the reception desk. A very good three-star hotel for anyone looking for nice accommodation with no frills. Nice and close to Güntzelstrasse U-Bahn Station.

For 7 nights, it was difficult not having my own fridge to put my own food items in My pillow was uncomfortable Also, the breakfast could add some simple and easy to digest plain breads. A toaster for the bread is also a good idea

Staff were amazing and available 24/7. Always greet you with a smile and a hello and ready to assist. Room was a good size for a solo traveller. Quiet room. The breakfast was fresh and lots of variety. The garden outside was beautiful and a must to relax in if the weather permits. There are even little squirrels or similar to entertain you! The room was very hot. And with no mosquito nets on the windows, you had to choose between being sleeping in very hot room, or getting attacked all night by mosquitos. That's the only negative point.

The breakfast was great. Everything was homemade, organic, and tasty. Great selection of original spreads for bread buns. Hummus, beetroot and walnut, etc. Fruit vitamin shots. Homemade ginger syrup etc. Location was good. 4 mins walk from line 9 metro. 7 mins walk from a bus. Lots of restaurants close by. Bike rental was straight forward at 15 euros per day, with good comfortable bikes.

Parking is there, but it is very, very tight. I had to do acrobatics to get out of the car. Recommended for thinner cars (and thinner people than me) with potential implications on the car door's paint and the neighbour's car door paint... When I arrived, the lift was broken, so I had to climb 6 floors. Next day the lift was fine, but I was still fuming...

We had a clean, quiet and spatious room. Each morning a, qualitative breakfast buffet was served with lots of choice. The hotel is conveniently located, at 5 min walking distance of a subway station and with good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Excellent quality for that price!
