The breakfast was phenomenal, with a plentiful selection of delicious and healthy options served by an attentive host. We started each day with energy to last into the afternoon.

The residence is located in the heart of Berlin, very close to public transportaion points. You can even walk to the Checkpoint Charlie. Rooms were extremely clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom was super clean, towels and everything were just beyond fine! Even tho we arrived middle of the night, we easily checked in. Such a cosy place!

We loved our stay at Vilhelm 7! Beautiful and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff and great location in Kreuzberg. We will definitely be back and are recommending Vilhelm 7 to all our friends and family visiting Berlin!

Nothing…we loved the place and being there!

We were granted an upgrade to a 2 bedrooms studio free of charge. clearly there is passion and attention to details in everything at Vilhelm 7! Aesop products in the bathrooms, decoration style that informal but design savvy clients will love. We were welcomed in the most friendly and personal way. Gorgeous breakfast not to miss. The building is lovely and the courtyard will make you feel at home away from home. For sure we found our special address where to stay when in Berlin!

Lovely room. Wonderful bar for teas, coffee and gin tonics. Bed and bedding perfect. The service is so friendly and welcoming, discreet. The main break fast room is well decorated and opens to lovely communal garden.

I know I should have complained the hotel. But...When there no one cleaned the room and I had to ask for clean towels. It said garden view but was actually adjacent to kids swings etc so had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. Bath was so slippery and really dangerous. Room was dingy rather than boutique and it was all super expensive for what is offered. Sorry, never ever again.

The pillows were useless!! The area was a little too quiet and residential for us but that’s just preference. If you’re looking for nice bars and restaurants within walking distance this area is NOT for you.

The property was well located for access to several tourist spots on foot and Uban stops were walking distance if you needed to go further. The rooms and dining area were beautifully styled with interesting artwork and a mix of modern and old furniture. Rooms were spacious, light and airy with high ceilings and the shower was excellent!! We usually got breakfast in the city as we like to try different places but we had breakfast once at the hotel and were so glad we did. It’s pricey but such a treat. The attention to detail with homemade preserves, birtcher meusli and yogurt, cheeses, meat, rolls and croissants and all presented so elegantly. The lady in the dining area clearly took enormous pride in what she created.

It is not really a hotel but a series of rooms in an apartment block, all on the ground floor with little privacy and no sound proofing. We couldnt find reception when we arrived. The entrances are incredibly confusing and you are given three keys to be able to access your room. Our room was dark and very noisy and there was no privacy at all. The building is unkempt both inside and out and the area felt very rough - particularly the building next door. Clearly the hotel owners have tried hard but it just doesn't work. We ended up not staying and moved out late evening to stay somewhere more suitable. The website is incredibly misleading.

The receptionist was very friendly.

Initially we thought we were located too far away from the main action, however a 15 min walk and we were in Bergmannstraße full of cafes and restaurants and 2 stops on the U-Bahn takes you right to Unter den Linden where we could do all of the ‘tourist things’.

A hidden gem! From the outside the building looks to be a little worn, however once we stepped into the hallway and the room we were very pleasantly surprised. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Quality shampoo and body wash, a good hairdryer and soft towels were the extra touches that made our stay even more comfortable. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night!
