Great location, very welcoming hosts and great breakfast and rooms

There is a construction next to the hotel (Aug 2023) so the direct access (<100m) from the city/castle is not possible with the car. We did not realize it and had to make a detour of a few km to get to the hotel from the other side of the road... (the information was sent by the hotel in advance, but would be more visual with the "how to access" map).

Very charming suite with the direct view on the Neuschwanstein castle! We appreciated the location with quick access to the castle bridge (still, uphill hike is required after 19h), tasty and various breakfast, underground parking (extra fee).

The rooms were so comfortable and spacious. We had a balcony with a view of the castle which was so pleasants in the evenings. Breakfast was great and the staff was helpful. We were able to hike to the castle from the hotel, and we even walked into Schwangau later in the day for a great dinner at the Schwangau Castle Brewery.

Everything was exceptional. The staff were fantastic and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect being a little out of the centre of the town but still very easy to walk to everything. Great views.

Everything!! The location was great. The room was fantastic- best shower! Balcony looking at Neuschwanstein Castle - very romantic. Staff was so friendly. Great coffee. Breakfast spread looked great (did not have time to partake). Great parking.

There is no aircondition in the room, in hot summer days might be a problem but it was cold during the night so we opened the windows.

The shower backed up on the first day but it was soon fixed and was not a problem other than a slightly flooded bathroom floor. The staff could not have been more helpful. No restaurant at night... but two good restaurants a short walk away.

Fantastic view of the Neuschwanstein castle from the bedroom. A very short walk to the Museum of the Bavarian Kings, Hohenschwangau castle and the bus stop for Neuschwanstein castle (otherwise 20 min uphill walk... a pleasant walk back though) Clean large exceptionally appointed bedroom. Terrifically helpful staff. Good breakfast. Underground parking with an EV charging point for my electric car.

Part of our European Road Trip was to visit Schwangau and its castles. The weather was less than favourable but it was still an epic addition to the trip. The staff at the hotel are fantastically helpful and friendly. The hotels location is without doubt the best in town, we could see both castles from our bedroom - which was superbly appointed as well as clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of variety. They have secure and spacious underground car park which is a must if you are driving through Europe. Overall, fantastic!

View is outstanding, direct to the castle. Car park is bonus, I felt very safe that car is secured and only hotel resident can park there. Breakfast OK, we always find something to eat. Walking distance to the town centre. We knew that we are going to be late to come back from the tour, but hotel staff politely allow us to keep dog in the room! So grateful for that! Room is big, has a fridge and kettle, bathroom is fully equipped. Hotel can arrange tickets to the castle too. Enjoy stay! Thank you.

Everything was perfect.

This is a stylish hotel with a beautiful view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The decor is modern but evocative of the nearby castles and Wagner’s operas. The setting is charming and quiet, but still only steps from the attractions which also include the Tegelberg gondola leading to various hiking trails and the Alpsee. The rooms are spacious and most have views. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with many local specialties as well as fresh fruits and baked goods. The best thing was the very friendly and fun staff. There have bicycles which we borrowed to ride into Füssen.

Beautiful Hotel with a gorgeous view of the castle. Incredibly quiet and peaceful location, only noisy neighbors were the random goats that would be active around 4:00pm 😊 Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Very clean rooms. Very impressive breakfast buffet for such a small hotel.
