Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Everything was great
Beautiful views, convenient location only 5 mins away from the Thermas. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and the best help from the staff in a long time. Hope to be back!

It's a minor issue about the pillows being too soft for our test. I mentioned this to the owner during breakfast, and by dinner, the pillows have been replaced. Happy for this quick resolution of our concern.
Everything worked out just fine. Our room was spotless. The linens and towels were all top-notch. The room carpet was vacuumed daily. The breakfast was filling. Most importantly, the owners, provided personalized service, ensuring that we had a comfortable stay. My wife and I, we felt very much at home.

The whole experience at Villa Rein was fantastic. Real attention to detail has been made to make everything that little bit special. Sebastian and his staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room felt luxurious, the décor was original Art Nouveau, yet everything felt so modern. The breakfast was also excellent with fresh ingredients. The location is perfect for visiting Berchtesgaden, Salzburg & Chiemsee.

There was one morning where I was pretty tired and wanted to sleep in a little longer, but the house-keeping team was already turning down a room in the hall and was vacuuming a little too early in the morning, in my opinion. I have found that many European hotels don't offer conditioner in the bathrooms... just shampoo and body gel. I think especially for women, hair conditioner is expected in a nice hotel.
Breakfast was delicious, the staff was wonderful, the house and facilities were all very comfortable and stylish. The town is quaint and peaceful, and the hotel is very close to the train station, bus stops, and the community therme/pool/spa. The staff happily provided recommendations and assistance for sights to see and things to do and provided helpful guide books/maps.

Brand new and Exceptionally clean hotel with super friendly staff. Late arrival was perfectlt accomodated with detailed instructions. Bed is very comfortable and hotel provided with coupons for free bus and train rides to Salsburg. Walking distance to the City center and Therme Would highly recommend.

Everything was wonderful! The staff were exceptional friendly, helpful and nice. I never felt so good in any other hotel in my life. We felt better than home! The room and bathroom were big and modern and the stylish villa and all the interior it gives you a good feeling, good vibes. I wanted to never leave that hotel! Exceptional good breakfast with all the goodies you want and fresh and perfect coffee and cappuccino.

Our stay was perfect - it’s the perfect location for exploring the Berchtesgadener Land or a visit to Salzburg. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. Staff was super friendly, with an eye for detail, and always willing to give advice and tips. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nowhere to write - small shelf opposite bed far too narrow Red standby light on TV directly in front of the bed. Had to be covered up before I could sleep. It was a huge disappointment that such a good Jugendstil/ art nouveau building had had almost all its internal features removed.
Excellent breakfast. When room service was needed, that was superb. Staff unfailingly cheerful and helpful. I enjoyed being so near the railway Water stayed in was basin! Small balcony excellent for drying my essential washing.
