Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesInformation in the room of how the sauna works, would be useful. We figured it out evenetually, but I am not sure that everyone would be this patient🙂 It is not a big deal, though🙂
The historic building is very nice and romantik as its name states. We had a suite with sauna. The suite was large, having a saina in your room makes the whole sauna expereience very comforable. We had dinner in the hotel at Saturday night and all three of the staff were sehr attentive, polite and helpful. The food was excellent too.

GermanyWe tried the restaurant in the evening, and were having equal high expectations to it as the Hotel was very nice. The wine list was very impressive, but the food was not worth it and nothing I would ever relate to Tuscany (The name is "La Toscana"). The food was a total let down, the price for the wine was also unnecessarily high e.g. a half glass of local "prosecco" was 8 EUR / glass. Would definitely recommend the Hotel owner to quickly get a new Chef in the kitchen before the Hotel suffers from people not being happy with the food.
We did not eat breakfast, but the location was very nice next to the Park and Castel Sayn.

GermanyI was calling the restaurant downstairs at 930pm to get some food as I had a long day. Nobody was answering. When I looked out the window to check, the restaurant was still open and there were still people in the kitchen. I called three times.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and sanitized. My room even had an air purifier which is much appreciated.
