The hairdryer...are they a leftover from the 90s? It was a bity noisy too.

Rooms have been decent, bathrooms as well. Friendly staff, parking free of charge, Subway station super close, to get to the "city" quite fast. Huge breakfast variety.

A bit out of the city centre but in nice area with good public transport. Rooms are relatively spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was just perfect.

The people at the reception seemed a bit shy (language?). They did not ask how our trip was, did not point out how to get to the room, no tips on what to do next in Hamburg. Very little information was given spontanuously.

The ambiance in the hotel, the size of the room, very modern and clean bathroom. The breakfast was very good and lot's choice, it was very good with small portions (less waste). Good coffee and lot's of choice in tea. The location, very close to the U bahn.

We liked everything about this place. It should be noted that this is in the outskirts of the city, but it is very near to two metro stops.

Very cool place! This hotel is in an old school-house. The breakfast was amazing--lots of delicious breads. The property has wonderful decorations, all in a school-house theme. Very walkable area.

- nothing to complain Hotel is just a bit off of the citycenter, but subway is less than 5min by foot so cant really complain.

+ overall quiet and calm Hotel + very clean and tidy + it is noticeable that this Hotel is run with much care and personal touch + very good breakfast! good selection and everything very fresh + exceptional value for money

I really had a lovely stay in this hotel. Its a renovated old schoolhouse and you can see its evolution from school to hotel on various trendy pictures on the corridor walls. It's very nicely decorated in a modern style but manages to keep its old worldly charms. The breakfast room is very large (like a school canteen) and there was a large selection of things to eat. Really enjoyed the breakfast! Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. The location was good too for what we needed. There is a U-bahn stop about 5 minutes walk away which brings you to the city centre in about 20minutes. There is a nice and cozy bar / lounge area just left of the reception area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I really liked my stay here. If I return to Hamburg one day I would go back here again without hesitation (if not too expensive). I think I got a good deal this time.

A curtain in my room had come off the rail, which meant that the curtains couldn't be fully drawn and leaked some light. Not a very big deal, but annoying nonetheless. I reported it to housekeeping. Entrance to parking should be better signposted: I showed on my Google maps review where this should be. I'll stay again on my next visit to Hamburg.

Excellent breakfast. Well located close to metro and close to other things that were important for me. Relatively easy access for vehicle, although entrance from the road is tricky (not down the street that is the Hotel's address). Comfortable, spacious, characterful rooms. Quiet area.

We were travelling through, so we haven't seen much of the area. But we are definitely booking here if we're ever in the area and I will recommend to friends and family.

The hotel is beautifully restored (in 2013, we've learned, but it looks very newly restored). With high ceilings, big windows and fun school related decorations. It was very quiet in the hotel, we stayed one night on Christmss day. But the breakfast was in abundance and the staff as super friendly!

Housekeeping persons entering rooms on their own without knocking. Double bed was really two single beds next to each other. WiFi kinda slow.

Sumptuous breakfast though surprisingly few vegan options. Good location and comfortable transport links to the city. Good parking.

Hard to think of something that one might dislike. Really.

The personnel was the best. The building is interesting. The rooms have high ceilings, the shower was great. Nice decoration too. The area is quiet. The breakfast is very good.

Perhaps I could say the location of the Hotel. Stil if you are by car no problem at all You can argue and say prices are too high, BUT I have to say they are PERFECT for what you get offered.

Everything 😊 Hotel very very beautiful (the idea of changing an old school to a Hotel like this AMAZING Parking a lot of spaces ro parc, even if the parking behind the Hotel is full (75places) there are many other places around to parc the car. The rooms where just amazing. Ok may be for some people expensiv (140€/night) BUT if you are 2 people its only 70€ and for that Price YOU GET BREAKFAST INCLUDED and a reallly reallly nice room with a big Shower. WiFi is free and works perfect. Breakfast in the morning is amazing for this price. You have many choices. Stuff were really friendly amd informal. They hslp you wherever and with whatever you need as Information.
