Nothing - it was perfect.

The rooms are very spacious and the beds super comfy. Staff are very welcoming and it was easy to reserve a table to dinner. The breakfast is very good, with a cooked option and plentiful buffet. Parking is easy as they have a large car park. We have stayed here several times now and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Baden Baden. We usually eat at the restaurant too, the food is always good and service swift. Nice walk around the local area in the forest or by the funicular railway.

Beautiful setting and cozy dining room. We loved the food! usually German good is a bit bland but I was so impressed!! Both the dinner and the cakes too. super friendly staff, and clean rooms and hotel area. We also liked waking in the surrounding area (e.g. to visit the wild animal enclosures)

Location is perfect. Restaurant proposes very tasty food. Stuff is very friendly. Room is big, clean, with all necessary stuff. Parking quite big. Would like to come back in spring/summer

Private porch had green algea on the wood deck and it was quite slippery. Would suggest it be cleaned.

Room was very spacious. The Restaurant for dinner was excellent. Breakfast room had tables for each guest set up and labeled. That was nice.

The hotel was small with a nice restaurant and helpful, friendly staff. It was a great place to stay for hiking, with its location between 2 of the 4 stages of the beautiful panorama way. Bonus: many other nearby trails and a busstop right at the hotel. (Caveat: it is a 100m walk uphill from the street.) Will recommend to friends and hope to stay again on another trip in future.

The shower in the room, but only because the attachment that held up the shower head was not working and it had to be hand held. I did tell the staff and they were going to repair it

We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant, the staff were very attentive and looked after us. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we were offered a hot choice of eggs.

The only negatives were the uncomfortably large pillows and a very bad WiFi connection in our room.

Great hotel/restaurant in the middle of nature. Short, but steep, 20min walk to the city center, or a convenient bus stop just in front. Lots of hiking opportunities in the neighbourhood. Plenty of parking space. Rooms were very large and clean. Restaurant served great food and home-made cakes. Breakfast was ok.

There were only two things that I would like to see improved: the WiFi (it kept disconnecting and was simply unusable) and the toiletries (or lack thereof; really, nothing at all was provided apart from toilet paper and liquid soap in a dispenser)

The stay was excellent altogether. The room was spacious, very clean and while not new it was very well maintained. The bed was on the soft side but that is a matter of taste. The hotel is in a forest clearing near a residential area on the hills overlooking Baden Baden. It is a lovely and peaceful location. By car you may reach the centre of Baden Baden in 10 minutes. Also, the restaurant serves very good food, it is worth the visit even of you stay elsewhere

Everything was lovely in this hotel when we stopped last year which was the reason we booked again but it looks like it’s changed management and not for the better. Staff were not as friendly, food not as nice and the place was dead and it was a Friday night in August. We were told to pay our bill at 7:45 as it was closing and could no longer get any drinks.

Location is lovely and quite with good parking and away from the town. The rooms are beautiful and the bed is so comfortable. Restaurant on site so no need to drive/taxi into town.
