Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Germanya King bed would be better than 2 beds for children sleeping in between parents.

GermanyThe room, the building where the room is in and how everything is not in one place. You have to walk between different buildings to get to the restaurant, the swimming pool, the parking lot and the room etc. So we always have to plan our days in advance to avoid wasting on walking back and forth. It requires planning. And the false representation. The pictures of the hotel do not show any of the old houses where a lot of the rooms are actually situated in. They have built a few new buildings, with a terrace etc, which looks really nice and that was what I was expecting when I booked the room, a "Familiewohnung". What we got in the end was one of the rooms in one of those really old houses in the back of the properties, which means you have to walk 10 minutes to go to the breakfast for example. I was very very disappointed when I saw the room and the buildings and seriously asked myself, is this what I paid 300 Euros for per night? The room itself was not "bad". The bathroom is relatively modern, but with an old-looking shower area. There is no children-friendly sink like you see on the pictures. We got over the disappointment over how shabby the room looked because the common areas are done very nicely. In the room description it was written that there is a sofa and "Sitzbereich". What we had was 2 extra single beds and there was no proper sitting area. So it was really just for sleeping. You do not want to stay in that room relaxing. The room was dark and smells kind of wet, probably due to poor ventilation and how old the building is. Overall we were not really upset about the trip. But had I known this room and the building were what we were getting, I would not have made the booking with this price. Food was OK. It was nothing fancy and most of the time I find the selection mediocre. The breakfast is the best of all 3 meals. Lunch and dinner are just average. They do have an afternoon cake/ice cream round too.
The swimming pool & the spa area, wi-fi works great but it is necessary but you have no reception there whatsoever. The breakfast was good. Quite a few playgrounds for the kids. For kids this place is a lot of fun. Staff is polite and friendly.
