How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

There is nothing much to do or see around hotel. Checkout time is 11:00 and it's too early. Other than that, our stay was really pleasant and nice.
We booked for one night stay at this excellent hotel and we had a nice, quality sleep there. Breakfast is great there. We liked the option to use hotel's spacious garage. The staff is friendly and communicative.

Close to the Autostadt. The room and the pool are clean. Large variety of the breakfast menu is also good.

great facilities, loved the pool, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. 2 male bar staff were particularly lovely and went out their way for my Autistic son who cannot talk - both wonderful (I didn’t get their names)

Friendly staff, always with a smile, clean room and lovely swimming pool. We stayed here several times now and it has always been great, swimming pool is very good and warm, sauna available too. Breakfast - good choice, parking close by; location is close to city centre. There is water and fruit available for guests in the lobby which is a nice touch. Will stay there again!

First check-in was not great, the reception person was keep questioning us why in the booking it doesn't show that we are four people, and I kept explaining that I entered all the info in the website, but they were not offering a big room at the booking site. I also kept saying give me a bigger room if you have and I will pay the extra, or else give me one room and we are good. Finally his manager advised him to give us a bigger room with no extra charge which was great, however I was willing to pay extra money but receive a more welcoming behavior at check-in time. Second issue was they didn't have any luggage transport service and you had to move all of your bags/luggage by yourself. Third problem was at breakfast times, since they have paid (and not great) breakfast, but the way their staff treat you at breakfast entry before letting you get in was not very pleasant.
They gave us a room with two double beds, which was better suited for us as a family with two little kids. Having the parking space was also good.

The room wasn't cleaned properly. There was half drunk water available. Also there were crumbs over the floor. The breakfast was nice but not worth €14. The bar was closed most of the time.
It was a great location. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Old fashioned building. The day of our stay there was a wedding reception at the hotel which meant that whole restaurant staff was unavailable.

rooms should be renovated, very old. the swimming pool is tiny. breakfast area over crowded. food is basic. no service at the tables. parking cost 13.00 Euro a day. I called once from the room and for 30 minutes no one was answered.
the lobby is well designed. the reception staff is nice and helpful.

we were told on check in that the pool (reason we booked this hotel) was out of order as they “had no chlorine” (which can be bought in supermarkets in Europe). Paid nearly €400 for a double bed but was given a single duvet. Asked Thomas Ege on reception for water for our baby and he is probably the rudest man I have ever met. he immediately started with an attitude and I said excuse me, we are guests at your hotel is this how you speak to customers, the began to laugh and say something in German (knowing we spoke only English) luckily a friend with us spoke German and he said nasty comments. stay away from this hotel and horrible reception staff. also the man at checkin when we said about the pool said nothing he can do to go to the public pool nearby, what kind of service is this ? I have travelled around the world and stayed in many hotels, never have I ever met such rude reception staff as these two men. The ladies on the desk and the rest of the hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. We go to Wolfsburg 4 times a year and never again will I step foot in this hotel.

Staff were amazingly helpful. It wasn't just a single individual, it was everyone we encountered - just such terrific and friendly service. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

The staff was great this time more than ever. I love the easy-being and the lounge area with coffee, infused water and a dog station, the screen music bands and the inspiring decoration. That's so easy but so nice! The wellness area could have a renewal but it is so nice to hop in the pool and in the sauna, so relaxing! Breakfast is excellent and easy, too. The rooms are 'all you need', the shower is fine. I even like the floor everywhere. I feel at home there.
