- The dry/wet separation door in bathroom is not really watertight, which cause the water accumulation at the floor of toilet bowl - There is no place to put your shower gel, shampoo or soap in the shower room - A little bit walking distance from train station, thus it might not be suitable for those who use public transport and with many or large luggages - A lot of night clubs or pubs just located at the buildings beside this hostel, thus it would be a bit noisy on Saturday night until late night

- Late check out option available with only small additional charges - The common area / lounge is quite big and comfortable - There is safety deposit box (for small personal items) at each bed and also locker (for luggage) assigned for each person

Beds were a bit squeaky and I’d accidentally hit the side board on the wall a few times which makes a massive noise. These are small gripes though especially for the price and not really a complaint

Not necessary the hostel’s problem but found it hard to sleep for more than a few hours due to loud music outside until 4am and people talked loudly on the corridors

It was a good location for the train to get to different places I enjoyed the bar and the Karaoke night that happened whilst I was there Staff were helpful when I asked to upgrade to a private room and also when the card didn’t work.

Can you please assign beds that will remove the need to have to make up a bed. It is normally the last thing I want to do just after travelling all day. Can you please use your key card instead of a code to unlock / lock your lockers (like the London location does), I admit it is minor, but it is very helpful.

The location is really good. The place is brand new and has everything you need.I appreciate the privacy curtains and the common areas were clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and really attentive. This includes the maintainence staff. I also really appreciated the individual fan at each bed, that helped me sleep on the odd warm night that I had.

While we had 2 bathrooms in the room, which is cool, if you forgot your towel, you could only dry your hands/face on your clothes. Same for the kitchen area. Also, no toilet in the lounge/kitchen area, so if you need to go, you have to go back to your room. The wifi had some issues in the room, but that's a small thing.

I liked the container area surrounding this hostel quite a lot. I also did some bouldering, and I think there were some other stuff, too, but I didn't have time. I also like that they do some events a few days a week. I was too tired to partake in the beer pong, sadly. Oh, and they have some instruments, and plenty of seats, and a small outdoors space.

There are so many night clubs around the place so they make so much noise in the night. Also they will give you sheets for bed and you have to do it yourself but the sheet they gave me was small for bed.

The twin room had a poor interior design, resembling more of a prison cell. It would have been beneficial to have glasses for drinking in the bathroom. Additionally, the view from the window was disappointing, facing directly into the windows of the adjacent building just 3-4 meters away, which felt quite claustrophobic and intimidating.

The staff were excellent—friendly and accommodating. The property offered a very good unlimited breakfast at a reasonable price. The main hall provided a pleasant space for gathering and networking.

Our safe under our bed kept locking by itself and then became un-openable so we had to get the staff multiple times to unlock it for us however it only happend twice so it is what it is. Also the fan in the bedroom is very loud and if you're staying in a shared room like us you probably won't use it because you wouldn't want to keep everyone else up at night.

Hostel is very welcoming and the staff are all multi-language and very friendly, always were helpful whenever needed. The "Wombar" on the bottom floor is a very nice touch very affordable beverages only a couple minute wait on an elevator away and is open very late. The common room always felt like an welcoming and open space and the shared kitchen was always clean with plenty of free items

My girlfriend and I had a really nice time at the Wombat's City Hostel, even if it was a little hard to find in the first place. It was super clean and very modern, the beds were comfortable, the staff were really nice and the breakfast is really good (although juice would have made it perfect) :) ♡

The bunks are metal so they’re making noise when someone is moving, its not very comfy. It could be nice to have shower gel/ shampoo in the rooms.

Rooms were cleaning everyday and reception people were really kind and helpful. It’s nice to have a bar and also a kitchen seperated. So you can chill out wherever you want. One of my roommate was a bit problematic on my last day and they had to change our room with my other roommate. Reception people were really kind and helpful to compensate this inappropriate situation, specifically thank you them ♥️

The location is slightly out of the way but it's within 5 minutes walk of the train station which takes you directly into town. Most minor inconvenience!

Super modern hostel. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and cleaned daily. Staff were also super friendly and gave great advice.

The private twin rooms are great value, clean and all you need for an affordable stay in Munich. Also very modern. I prefer the Werksviertel Wombat’s to the one at Hbf because of the newer facilities.
