There are a lot of stairs to climb with your luggage. Not bad once you are checked in, but a bit cumbersome when checking in.

It was a pleasant place to stay and very clean. Parking was easy and the location was also good.

Street with setts, and some noise from traffic despite double windows. Machine with different types of coffee, but no tea :-( Can't comment on staff, as didn't meet anyone.

Good-sized, clean and comfortable room in large house with very imposing entrance. Good wifi. Shared bathroom, but this wasn't a problem. Straightforward key-safe entry. Short walk from town centre for shops/restaurants/etc.

We never met any staff there, the shared area for eating is a bit sterile, full of vending machines. The doors opening and closing and folks walking around can apparently be noisy, at least others complained of noise. There are several long flights of stairs to reach the guesthouse so not good if one has a lot of luggage.

Clean, bright guesthouse. Views over the town very nice. Has a decently equipped shared kitchen. Liked the bathrobes! Room was large, and shared baths were also large, and very clean.

You can hear everyone's door, opening and closing, also, anyone using the shared kitchen you can hear. If you arrive in the evening when it's dark, you have to find the light switch inside the first entrance. There is no lift to the rooms. If you arrive by car, there are not many spaces provided. There is a pay and display carcpark approximately 5 min walk down the cobbled street.

The shared bathroom was clean.

Super nice and clean, modern and well located. The concept with the large room with no bathroom works well because there are plenty bathrooms with showers in the hallway, rooms are very spacious and well equipped.

Omg, too much stairs with all our luggage. There is no elevator. The names of the rooms are written in german, which we don't know at all, so it was difficult to identify which was our room and which key card was ours to finally enter the building. I would recommend that for the next visitors they can send the room number in both languages.

The check-in was done with a key code in the entrance, free parking in front, good-sized rooms, clean and big shared bathrooms in front of the room, and vending machines in the lobby. The shared kitchen had a fridge which was a plus for us traveling with a toddler.

Sound proofing with the kitchen was very poor - being next to it, I was woken by other guests making breakfast at 6.30. Not great. The bathroom windows face the panorama, and do not cover much - especially at night with the light on, you're doing your business or showering with a gorgeous view (but this goes both ways); there is one bathroom withount windows if this is too much of an issue for you. As noted by others, getting to the room can be problematic if you have heavy luggage or physical issues: the boardinghouse is uphill from the city center and/or train station; also, I counted 25 stair steps from parking lot to road (optional, if you don't have a car to park or you come from the south), 13 from road to building entrance, and 48 from building entrance to actual boarding house entrance. In addition, the building entrance and internal stairwell is in desperate need of renovation.

The room was large and well furnished; the bed was comfortable; the view exceptional. Cleanliness of both the room and common areas was also excellent. The room was facing the port, and not the road - maybe thanks to that, I have to say that it was relatively quiet. Maybe I'm used to hostels, maybe the other guests were clean and tidy - but the shared bathrooms were not an issue at all. Also, having 3 for 7 rooms, it's difficult to find all of them full.

The fact that dogs were allowed. One lady walked her dog at 5 am and woke my friend up. It would have been nice to at least have a sink in the room.

The location was great! Short walk down some stairs and you're in the city centre, near Norderstraße. The street itself was very quiet, and we had a view over the city and into some lovely trees. It was nice that we were able to get into the apartment before the official check-in.

Following things could be improved: The heating or insulation as it felt quite chilly next to the window over night, a shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, and card payment for the coffee maker and vending machines (Ironically, they recommend contactless payment on a Covid-19 poster that's attached to a vending machine only accepting coins).

Central location, clean, spacious, clear communication and fast response time. Overall, the hotel provides a very good price value and we were very happy with our stay.
