It takes about half an hour to get to Hamburg on strange slow roads, but the quiet and impressive location on the Elbe makes up for it all.

The view on the river side was simply amazing. Breakfast was great. Everything is very modern, clean and pleasant.

There is little to complain. We were on the second floor and there seemed to be a bar or terrasse of some sort of that played music during late evening times. so you could hear that when going to bed. but thats it from negative side..

The hotel and the facilities are truly a treasure that we honestly did not expect. The building itself is renovated in a modern touch, keeping old elements like walls in a rural style. The room is spacious, with a lot of glass and clean furniture, mosquito nets at the windows and decently dark curtains. The rest of the hotel is as nice as its style: the spa has a whopping 3 different saunas, steam bath, a big calm area to relax - the spa itself is actually worth just coming back. Apart from that, the bar and the couches there are super comfy, the bar tender very friendly and nice. And then the buffet....again, almost a reason to come back because of that. The buffet is big, tasty, full of healthy and less healthy things.

breakfast was a bit limited for vegans but very high quality nonetheless. Hamburg city centre is a bit far (40 min) but totally worth staying far for the fabulous view.

everything. one of the best hotels we have stayed at. the design, the views, the fireplace bar, the staff was exceptional too. it was super dog friendly and everything was spotless. I will definitely be coming back again.

Great Hotel, large and modern rooms by the river. Excellent resturant, though we had to wait some time for our orders, but it was Jan 1 so I guess some staff shortage. But very good food and wine.

The Wi-Fi was slow and also on my Mac, I could not get the captive screen to come up and connect. I had no problems connecting via my iPhone and iPad but they were still slow. I let the hotel know. They let me use their meeting connection on my Mac so the problem was solved by them.

The place is gorgeous inside and out. It backs to the Elbe River. The village it is in is beautiful. The bus comes there but we had a car. Parking is free. Breakfast is awesome.

Even though we had a long trip of around 6 hours and wanted to fresh up and enter the room a bit earlier - they made it vey clear that this is not an option. Expect more from a star hotel

For the price we paid and equivalent hotels stayed in, it should really have had a pool, and the food and drink was very over priced.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Coffee capsules not replenished on 2nd day. No lower cost food options. Taxes charged despite Booking.com saying taxes included.

No place to go for electric vehicle drivers. One charger and no reservation system. Staff pretty clueless how to deal with this.

The restaurant prices were way too much. 33 Euros for a hamburger is ridiculous as is 21 Euros for a breakfast. We went to the nearby bakery and had a delicious breakfast.

We loved our 3 night stay in this beautiful hotel. Our room was lovely and looked over the marina and river. It was clean and modern and had a great shower. The lobby was beautiful and the outside terrace was such a nice place to sit in the evening. We stored our bikes in the garage. The staff were very pleasant. We stayed mid week and found the price quite reasonable compared to if we had stayed over a weekend. We loved the location far from the bustle of the big city. We took the bus into Hamburg to do some site seeing.
