The spa area was quite small and much smaller than anticipated. People were sometimes quite harsh. Overall it felt a bit too expensive for what we got

Very nice location, next to a small village in the middle of nature. Nice facilities, very good option for a family get away. Friendly and nice staff especially the ones working at evening shift at the restaurant and at the bar.

The hotel is slightly confusing with its layout - possibly because maximising on room capacity while facing spacial restrictions in the narrow Brexbach valley posed some difficulty throughout the building phase. Some of the hallways are rather narrow and the elevators are a bit hidden. Maybe also one could find a better place for the linen trolleys.

Although the room in the picture on Booking.com did not exactly match the room in that mid-level category ("Knight"), we were happy with it. There are, unfortunately, no views from most of the room since the hotel was added on multiple times and views of the valley, village and castle were obstructed for most views except for rooms in the highest category. However, we did not spent much time in the room and so it did not matter that much. The bed was very comfortable and the linens nice. We appreciated the spa basked containing towels and robes. Slippers might be a nice addition as well as shampoo. There are soap dispensers in the bathroom and the shower stalls in the spa, but I think adding a couple more dispensers would not hurt. The spa is not large but very nice and not overrun. We stayed during the week and enjoyed the different rest areas throughout the spa very much.

Booked two double rooms (usually this means a large bed) but was given rooms with two single beds. These couldn’t be pushed together to create a large bed as the nightstand in between the beds was fixed to the wall and thereby wasn’t mobile.

Excellent facilities on location (gym, spa, restaurants, bowling alley). The breakfast was very very affordable for what it offered (lots of variation, high quality produce).

The room doens't have a air conditioner . In augustus can be very hot in Germany. You can open the windows but if you room is close to the restaurant or the smoking are (and that was my case) it can get very noise.

Nice hotel in a great place. Enough parking spaces, good swimmingpool and spa area. Breakfast was really great! A lot of options. The dinner in the restaurant was also a great surprise.

Not the most dog friendly hotel out there. No spot where you can sit with a dog for breakfast (also not in the lobby). In the end we could sit at the terrace. Price is high for the total offering of the acccommodation.

Exceptional buffet for dinner. Breakfast with gluten free alternatives! Child friendly, they surprised us with the attention and comprehension towards our strong willed 2 yo.

The room was looking on the weddding venue with very loud music. The hotel is situated in a quiet forest and rather to listen to sounds of nature, we had to close our windows to muffle german techno schlagers. At least, hotel staff could think twice before allocating rooms to family with children.

The rooms were okayish, while sauna and pool areas were fantastic. Breakfast was also good and many options to chose from.
