Very old and beautiful building:) Comfortable room with huge bed and elegant white sheets. It was warm inside, even a bit too warm for me, but opening windows at night helped. Everything looked exactly like on the photos. Plus big and tasty breakfast served by a nice owner. For dinner we found good restaurant nearby, with great schnitzels and beer. One little "but" or rather a tip for guests - it's a small, private hotel, so there was nobody at the reception when we arrived, we needed to call the owner to let us in - you definitely should check the "time of arrival" box while making the reservation (of course we didn't do that;) And it turned out that the staff doesn't speak English - but we managed to communicate with some basic German, so everything turned out okay :) We liked the place a lot.

It’s a very old wooden building, so noise insulation is not very good. It can also get quite warm inside. Limited choice of restaurants in town when we stayed.

Lovely building full of charm and character. The owner is very helpful very friendly and also a bit of a character. Location is good, easy to find and an easy walk into town. Plenty of parking but beware steep ramp and sloping ground. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water and a powerful shower. Great breakfast. You won’t leave hungry.

Not really a big fan of the spring mattress but it wasn't terrible.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way home. Interesting accommodation in a building, parts of which were built several centuries ago. The owner has expertly restored everything and created comfortable rooms. It was interesting to discover that various hinged windows were known a long time ago and to try to open them using ancient mechanisms. The beds are comfortable, the room is quiet, the breakfast is good.

When we arrived the owner was quite grumpy and he told my (english) husband he had to speak German, because we are in Germany. I didn't book breakfast and when we asked if we could add it, his answer was NO. The next morning when we left the landlord was in a better mood and my husband tried his best to speak German.

The room was small but beautifully furnished. The property was cute and quite different Very quiet.

Don't stay in that hotel! I lost my money because of the man at the reception desk as he did not let us enter our prepaid room, he didn't even let us check-in! He was extremely rude and "without hearth"! I lost my money as I had to pay in advance and I had to look for another hotel that night. I was traveling with two small kids! Even more, after we left this place to look for another hotel, the owner apparently changed the status on booking.com to "checked in" (to get my money from booking.com?) although I didn't check in as the owner did not allow me to! The man at the reception desk did not let us enter because I came with two small children but he expected only one (see below for the reason). According to booking.com, this room has space for two adults and one child! But for one adult and two children apparently not?! In any case, the kids are so small that they sleep in the same bed with me (and there are even two beds). I tried to negotiate some solution. I could have paid for the extra child. But the receptionist was not interested in any talk at all. Instead, he was very rude to us, attacked me verbally that I am a liar when I tried to explain why I came with two children. He only told us to leave! In the night with two small children! His only argument was that the reservation listed only one child, but I came with two. So why I came with two children instead of one? The reason is the misleading search function on booking.com. In the search filters, we specified that we look for a room for one adult and two small children. Nonetheless, a room of this property was shown in the search results. Thus, I assumed that this room meets the search criteria and booked it. I noticed during the final steps of the booking process that suddenly only one child was shown, but I thought that due to the small age of our youngest child, the property would not count our child as another guest. I contacted customer's support of booking.

The house is very old, 500 years, but lovely and comfortable. It was warm and the water was delightfully hot. The furniture is lovely and very cosy. The host - helpful and nice.
