Water pressure is good everywhere, except shower :( Check in instruction could've been send as sms or via booking chat, instead you need to call and get the pass code for the locker, as there is no reception. Pillows are terrible, they are in desperate need of replacement, sheets weren't soft too, only duvet was nice. Our electric kettle was leaking while pouring the water. If you have luggage and get upper rooms - it may be very challenging to climb the spiral wood stairs. WiFi was quite weak.

It's a great place in a city center for travellers without luggage (our room was upstairs, with a great view). I don't know if all the rooms have such a nice small kitchen hidden in a closet, but our had and it was a surprise for me. The place is clean, in very good condition, considering it's an old house. Everything you need is there: nicely smelling soaps and other small things in the bathroom, comfortable siting aream, coffee, tea. Staff is friendly and helpful, despite the fact they almost don't speak English.

steep and a lot of stairs up to the 4th floor (no elevator) especially with two heavy suitcases. WiFi in top room (4th floor) isn‘t usable almost (good WiFi repeater signal, but almost no throughput to the internet)

We had to take super quick showers, as the warm water won‘t last long enough for two people. It would have been nice to have a second pillow as the one that was provided was not really comfortable or supportive while sleeping. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The church bells, right in front if the hotel, ring every hour also during the night.

The room was spacious and exceptional clean. The fully equipped kitchen offered everything you would need for a longer stay. The location was great for exploring the heart of downtown and you get a great view of the square.

WiFi signal was so poor that my devices could not use internet. But there was possible to sit on the ground floor. There could be towel in the kitchen. But this minor issues do not affect my positive expierence.

Exceptional stay: central location with nice view on Town's square in historic building. I had two level apartment on the top floor. Property has everything for a longer stay. Gerne wieder!

Amazing 2-storey apartment by the market square. Quiet, spacious with a balcony and every imaginable amenity. More like a flat than a room. The hotel is located in an old, charming building. Perfect location in the middle of the old town. Great value for money. I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse.

Nice big room in the hotel in city centre. Althought it´s in city centre it was calm during evening and night (we were there during weekend where there are more people in the streets). We were surprised by the nice small kitchen which is covered in the cupboard. We didn´t meet the staff, handover of the keys was done via mobile talk so in this case you need to speak german or english language.

Cons - high stairs to the upper floors. No place to park cars/motorcycles - but a parking garage 24/7 was 5 min walk from the hotel, so no big problem.

Room was very big and clean. The view from the windows - superb! The bed was comfortable. Very beautiful small city, everything was near the hotel - bars, cafes, bakery. I would definitely book this place for the next time!

We did not know we had to climb five sets of stairs to get to our sitting room, and another flight to our bedroom. When you are person with a cane, it is not right to have to carry luggage up six flights of stairs. My poor wife had to carry all of our luggage. The sight needs to say, there are six sets of winding, narrow stairs, with no lift. We loved the place but think Booking.Com owes us a refund.

The hotel is very clean, the woman who met us, I think she is called Peggy, was very, very friendly & helpful. I recommend it, if you can climb stairs.

First of all, what annoyed me the most - the hostess does not speak a word of English, so it was difficult to get into the room upon arrival. Breakfast is not available. Payment in cash or a separate bank transfer is required after the stay.

Great location in the heart of Bautzen. The unit was well fitted out, very comfortable bed. It's in a historic building and you will likely have to walk up many flights of stairs to get to your unit. We stayed at the top, probably 150+ stairs.

The WiFi didn't work in my room on the second floor, so in case I wanted to use the internet I had to go down to the ground floor reception to use it. Quite inconvenient.
