We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe were put in their other accommodation, which, although we know where this building is now, it took us a while to locate the underground car park, then find the building. Would appreciate better maps and direction. Especially when you're in a different country and it's getting late . Also, we were put in the top floor, which had two flights of stairs . No lift - Fine for us, but just if you were unable to climb stairs.
Very clean. Warm. Good value. Location. Friendly hosts. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Safe.

GermanyIt was nothing available for the organic food which mentioned in the description of the hotel. All other things were pretty nice.
The old building it is renovated, located in the old city center in a quite, mainly for pedestrians street. The hotel has a restaurant and parking place for the cars with an extra payment. The single room has enough of space. I recommend this hotel and I will try to stay again.

United KingdomWe didn’t get the room we booked - a deluxe room with extra facilities. Instead we were put in an annexe several hundred metres from the main hotel. We weren’t told why. We were promised a city view but had a view of a car park and two garages. We had ONE chair instead of a seating area and had to sit on the bed for most of our relaxation time. I asked about a price reduction but was refused. The cleaner was very rude and didn’t clean the bathroom - she just changed the towels - until our last day.
