For a 4 star hotel, I would expect more amenities in the room, like a mini bar, deposit box, kettle, air conditioner. Pillows could be softer. And breakfast can level up a bit, though we did not leave hungry.

Very nice little hotel, fabulous view over the lake. The room was smalish but cozy, good bed, nice interiors. Amazing dinner at the restaurant, warm recommendation. Available parking. Nice and friendly stuff. Nice surroundings.

The hotel was extremely clean. The room was bright and fresh with blue and white decor. We had a room that provided complementary cognac and whiskey. The Ilse Jacobsen toiletries were a lovely touch. We bought hand soap to bring home! We dined in the sun/light filled restaurant. The food was delicious and the presentation perfect. Caspar was our waiter and was very friendly, polite and helpful. A great young employee that you should nurture and keep! We walked in to the town which was small but pretty. I would love to go back in the summer. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Small shower. Overheard neighbors through the walls or if it was between floors. The restaurant had high ambitions but all servings had something that could be worked on further.

Bright and clean rooms. We had a larger room with nice chairs and a small balcony.

Not much. Perhaps the hotel could invest in a shower curtain - this would make the bathroom a bit cleaner.

Breakfast was excellent - food as well as friendly service. The breakfast room/restaurant is overlooking the adjacent lake - very nice, especially upon good weather. I case you need to buy food/drinks, there's a large supermarket about 200 m down the road (open 7 days a week).

1) Spectacular views of the lake from the hotel dining room and from a large sitting room 2) The warm welcome and food service from an always attentive staff 3) The best dinner and breakfast servings in recent memory 4) Availabilty of excellent wines by the glass, of several types -- which is frequently a missing option in many restaurants 5) The hotel's location, on the edge of a walking path around the beautiful Hornbæk lake 6) A spacious, well-appointed, economy-class room, complete with an easy chair, a desk & chair, a smart TV and ample closet space 7) My Danish wife appreciated the selection of Ilse Jacobsen products in our spacious bathroom. The rock-hard pillows and synthetic down blankets in our room led to a near sleepless night for us.

Overall well rennpvated but not perfect

The room and the breakfast were great. A uneducated child screamed in the hallway at 7:00am and woke us up. Unfortunately parents these days are pretty helpless when it comes to raising children.

it's a very nice hotel with great surroundings and comfortable nice designed rooms. it's a pity that for the price they're asking you don't get a coffee machine in the room and that at breakfast they only have filter coffee and charge you extra for a proper coffee.

The view. the wonderful suit 16 with the most wonderful view. The nice complimentary touch. the cosiness.

Otstanding hotel with amazing view, good location, wonderful rooms and suits. Stayed in their suit 16, which is absolutely outstanding. Cleanest in rooms is beyond above avarage. Looking forward to my next visit.
