How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would have preferred the breakfast time to last untill 10 or 10:30. Y came down at 9:55 and there was NOTHING there.
Welcoming and clean hotel with beautiful and delicious breakfast and hosptable staff. I would come back. Very close to the centre.

Our room was very small! We took 17 sq. m. and it was quite tough to fit there. Another issue is lack of regular curtains in the room - there is only a roller blind one, and it's was blocking. The windows in our room were towards the inner yard and everyone on the opposite side else could look into our room, unless we unroll the blind which makes room less cozy and comfortable.
Very comfortable hotel right next to the train station and 15-minute walk from the Aarhus city center. The room was very nice and clean. The breafast was good and satisfying. Most important: beds are awesome - very comfortable, we had great sleep there!

No kettle in bedroom but free tea/coffee in seating area downstairs
Friendly staff, good location, good breakfast and seating areas. Very clean and efficient. Great base for exploring Aarhus.

Food offers besides breakfast almost completely lacking. Tapas available in the weekend though.
Staff very friendly, smiling and helpful. Breakfast very nice - but don’t be too late. Nice that coffee is available during the day.

There was no available parking for our car, due to limited parking for the hotel guests. We were given an alternative to park in a private parking, but this did not fit us given we were travelling with small children.
The hotel is in a walking distance from the train station and it is close enough from the city center. It provides a relatively good breakfast with a lot of choices, and the stuff is helpful and friendly. The room is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is sizeable and the room in general is well kept. A good choice for a short stay in Aarhus.

Room was big enough but decoration was kind of standard. I would have liked water pressure in the badroom were a little better.
Bed was really comfortable. Room was equipped with all basics to rest. In general the hotel has functional. Breakfast was really good, all the staff were nice. Location good to discover the area by walking. What i really liked was the Fitness room. It was equipped with all kinds of gym devices, weights, and cardio options. It was pefect to make some sport!

The breakfast could be way better. Try some sour dough bread, eggs not from a plastic container, better cheeses, soft boiled eggs, etc.

The pillows are very small, at least two should be provided. The shower had very low water pressure. No body lotion provided. Bathroom not as clean as it could be. Both bedside lights did not work.
Location, easy of check in. Overall very welcoming, and the hotel had all of what we needed. Decent size room with good hanging and clothes storage. Good plug supply, and adecuate bathroom.

Shower recess is very small. The shower curtain too short to stop water spraying all over the bathroom floor and also sticks to the body when wet as the recess is too small (I’m not a big person!)
