The hotel is beautiful and all the facilities were good. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious!

I would say the value for money is not quite accurate. We paid a fairly big price but the hotel does not have a lot of facilities. The breakfast was quite basic, the cocktails and everything at the bar was expensive, and the pool was not at all warm - rather cold. The sauna and jacuzzi were fine but still - 1 jacuzzi for all guests is not really enough. The game room was not amazing either, with the pung pong table and equipment being old. Plus, we had to pay for bathrobes which we were expecting to get for free in the room. The sheets were also not the cleanest but ok

The staff was really nice and they offered us a bigger room for the cat. They were also super sweet with regards to our animal which is a big plus

I was traveling with a pet, the pet room was smelly. Someone could say that is normal but I travel a lot with my cat and the smell in the room was much more annoying than what I experienced before

We spent 3 nights in a refurbished one bedroom appartement. It was very quiet and comfortable though a bit expensive what is the reason for rating it 9 and not 10. The outside area with swimming pool, whirlpool sauna and gym was very nice and a real plus. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner at Holger Restaurant was brilliant! An excellent stay!

Very friendly staff. And a real dog friendly hotel, he got a better welcome than I did :). Joke apart, water bowl filled with fresh water, doggie treats, and his own duvet. Their restaurant is also very good, excellent fish soup, and all the meny was good. The staff seems happy to work there, and I travelled a lot so I can see when staff like their job

The beds was soft and old, the room was small, and the room key was old with an old fashioned key-fob .

They have a piano player in the dining room, and the breakfast buffet was very good, with great food.

The room’s furnishings were basic and functional. Very thin walls so can hear lots from next door rooms and had loud children in the room next door. No fridge/ kettle/ robe in the room. Breakfast was nice but not a particularly wide offering. The were not a great number of seats around the pool so often there wasn’t one free (did visit during school holidays so was busy). Would suggest visiting outside of school holidays.

Great facilities - it was nice to be able to relax by the pool and on the patio or in the bar in the evening. Good to have a gym/ spa facilities. Comfortable room and nice balcony. Rented a bike from the hotel, which was a great way to get back and forth from centre of town (which was a 25/30 min walk away

We unfortunately came during a very busy weekend for cyclists who meet 3x or so times a year in Skagen. It is not the fault of the hotel, they did try to control the partying. However, the day drinking and loud music from other guests could have been controlled better - we had to complain before anything was done in the common pool area mid-day and there were many young families around. We would have also appreciated a symbolic discount for the inconvenience of the partying that weekend as this was a "secret" weekend the average tourist would not have been aware of - but the hotel seemed to be very well aware as, at check-in, we were told to "just complain" in case of any noise at night. We were let down by the breakfast options. The eggs/sausages and bacon were very cold by 9am. For a hotel of this price, warming plates are expected. Very few options for yogurt toppings etc., We also would expect coffee to be available in the common areas throughout the day.

Location was nice and relaxing but a few minutes drive from the city center. We were visiting during a busy weekend and taxi's were few. We walked about 30 minutes each direction which was fine and pleasant for us (a couple, no kids) but to keep in mind in case it may be an issue for you. Facilities were very nice and very clean. We had a beautiful room that was facing a lovely field so we had a nice unobstructed view. The pool area with hot-tub and sauna were very nice - the area was well styled. Very Hygge. Towels are provided and the water and surrounding area are kept very clean. We had a look at other hotels and this is by far the nicest in terms of the hotel itself but also the surrounding area (long grass, trees, unobstructed sunsets). We will visit again we are sure! Hopefully during a quieter weekend tourist wise. :)
