How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It was a little cold in the room, even though I raised the temperature of the thermostat, it didn't get warm.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I really liked the bathroom, the shower cabin was very spacious. The bedspread was very comfortable and warm. The metro terminal was 1 minute away, the metro started every 4 minutes, the city center was only a few metro stops away.

Restaurant on site didn’t impress - not much choice for our taste and quite expensive Checkin time is late ( which was not critical for us)
Modern hotel in the new district of Copenhagen, but quick access to city center by metro and there is a residencial area with restaurants and shops just 10 min walk or 1 metro station away. Breakfast was fantastic, a lot of choice and really delicious. I also want to highlight sustainability- if we didn’t want towels to be replaced, it was not and I appreciate it Cleaning personnel was nice and no complains about at all Room was decent size, all needed like kettle, iron, hairdryer in the room, bathroom is new and shower was very well equipped

Some parts of the rooms are a bit outdated, like the cupboard not closing properly or the shower draining wasn’t optimal, we have informed the reception of this upon departure, hope they will ask maintenance to keep up the rooms accordingly
Very nice location, around the corner of the metro which takes you to the city center every 2-5 minutes. Nice rooms, small but good enough for the weekend. Friendly staff

It will be a plus if they had a small fridge in the room since we bought some stuff that we wanted to place them in but we suddenly through them away. They had a policy where they can’t place your items into their fridges (only medicines allowed) where i respect.
Very beautiful and clean hotel with excellent breakfast variety. It is not centrally located but it has metro station nearby and was easy for us to move wherever we wanted. We will definitely come back!

Excellent, comfortable hotel. A little on the outskirts, but comfortably connected to the city centre by the nearby metro, you can arrive at the sightseeing spots in a matter of 10-15 minutes or even less. Very comfortable room and bed, modern interiors. Good choice of breakfast options. Friendly staff. Comfortable baggage storage before check-in.

The internet connection was down during our second day at the hotel apparently due to a underground cable damage and it was restored only on the next day.
The hotel though located outside the city, was just a stone throw away from the last metro stop Orientkaj in M4 line. The rooms were spacious and quiet. Overall we loved the stay at Comwell during our time at Copenhagen.

Great hotel. Newly built with the development of the area, so all mod cons. Restaurant exceptional with a good bar. Good gym also.

I would be happier if the working stations were more private, far from the lobby and the noise, and included a monitor to attach a laptop.
Everyone is very kind and helpful. whenever we needed something they responded quickly and helped us every single time without hesitation. Breakfast is amazing, a lot of different varieties of food are available, like options for different diets and choices. Great location, quite and very convenient to get anywhere in the city. The gym is also very well equipped and sufficient.

Even if the hotel is far away, it is 2 minutes from the metro, which makes access to the city center very easy, the value for money is perfect if we compare the prices of accommodation in Copenhagen, the hotel is new and clean.

Location was superb - very easy to approach by public transportation. Staff was very polite, proactive and nice. Breakfast is fantastic: great variety of food, very nice atmosphere. We definitely will return to this hotel.

The staff was very kind and helpful and the whole atmosphere makes you feel at home. Breakfast was fantastic! The distance to the subway is literally 2 minutes, the views on the way there are wonderful!

Everything was good.
Nice and clean hotel! Very close to the city. The metro station is only 2-3 Min by walk, that gets you in max 10 min to the city. The staff was very friendly and polite! I would definitively recommend and stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Comwell Copenhagen! I like the location as it's very calm and very close to the Metro station. The room size is so-so, but the bed is very comfortable. I had a really good sleep during my 3 day stay there.
