Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHall carpet was a little on the grubby side.
Absolutely loved the organic breakfasts. Wine hour and night cap hour were a great bonus. Location was really good, with a good number of highly rated shops nearby - pastries, cocktails, bikes, etc.

AustraliaI arrived late but considering I was staying 7 nights I thought maybe allocating the best room for my substantial stay would have been done. I had choice of 2 rooms. I do know my room was being sold a lot cheaper than what I paid for. My room looked into a courtyard which is fine but so bloody noisy. Someone constantly filling and emptying bins. Started early each morning. Very noisy
Location great. Loved the happy hours. Breakfast very good.

United KingdomThe corridors and carpets away from the main bar/reception/breakfast area are really tired and in need of a freshening up. The breakfast staff are stretched to breaking point.

United KingdomThe room was very small and dark. The bathroom was also very small. The room could do with a refresh as there were marks on the wall. Would also have been nice to get advice on local restaurants, places to see and practical advice on transport etc.
The lobby bar and the other communal areas. The breakfast was great - plenty of variety.

United KingdomWe were initially really disappointed with our room. The photos of the rooms look so much better on the website. I had a free upgrade with booking.com to a superior room and it thought “how small would the next two downgrades have been”. The building is very old and the stairs were a nightmare to walk up and down. One of the lifts weren’t working on our side but it didn’t matter too much, there was always a lift centrally in the building. I nearly went to reception to complain and check that we had the right room but we thought we’d just give it one night, as they were fully booked anyway. After a good night sleep and realising that the only complaint was the size we accepted and started to enjoy our space. The hair dryer was disappointing so if you need a good blow out… take your own! The shower was a bit poop. No power BUT it is an old building behind the stylish reception area.
Great location, the lobby was stylish and the staff were fab! Laid back, happy and genuine. The beds were super comfy and probably the best best nights sleep we’ve had in a hotel. Loved the free night cap and I hate wine BUT so nice to offer to those who do with a wine hour.

United KingdomWe found it a bit odd that you had to check in at the bar, which was usually fairly busy with customers, with only a couple of members of staff, so you and your suitcases are rather in the way. We splashed out on a Penthouse Loft Suite, we thought a two story suite with a balcony would be fabulous but in actual fact it just wasn't practical. The bathroom, and the only mirrors in the suite, were downstairs. So you had to go down a staircase that was a bit slippy underfoot , to use the loo or to shower then dry off and return upstairs to dress, then back down if you wanted to look in the mirror. Of course if you needed the bathroom during the night it was a bit of a trek and both of you ended up awake because of the lights which had to go on. It was unseasonably very warm the week we were there so we were really looking forward to diving into our cold mini bar when we arrived but no! The mini bar wasn't working and was empty. This is not what we were expecting, all we had were three bottles of warm water which were downstairs. We visited reception to report the issue within an hour of arriving. We were told it would be fixed by maintenance the next day, but it never was (we arrived on Monday and left on Friday). We were also told there was never anything put in the mini fridge, working or not? All drinks were included in this room type but you had to go to the bar four floors down (there is a lift) to get them, or call for room service one glass per person at a time until 11pm. This was just our experience of this particular room, our friends stayed in a different room type and were perfectly happy with it. We also saw a couple of other suites (when the doors were open for the housekeeping staff) which were on one floor not two, so if we return to SP34 we would have one of those instead. I want to stress it hasn't put us off the hotel, we just wished we'd had a different room.
SP34 has everything you need for a great stay in terms of location and facilities. We ate at two of it's restaurants (Vækst and Cocks & Cows) and found both to be superb, particularly Vækst. Breakfast service was held in Vækst, and was varied and delicious. Vækst was wonderfully quirky by day and by night, you really must try it if you stay at SP34! We found all of the staff to be professional, polite and helpful. In the evening at nightcap hour guests would arrive to partake in a few free tipples and it created a lovely atmosphere. They also held a wine hour but we were never back in time for this. There were plenty of seating areas in the public areas inside as well as outside, we enjoyed wonderful weather during our visit and so used both indoor and outdoor spaces. The housekeeping staff were fabulous, our room was always wonderfully clean and tidy when we returned from a long day out.

South AfricaI always enjoy staying at the Brochner Hotels in Copenhagen. This is the first time I have stayed at SP34 but it lived up to my expectations. I booked two rooms for a family stay and they were both very comfortable. The location is ideal for access to the Central station and the wifi was good enough for some work calls.

United KingdomThe room was decorated to a high standard however was quite tight. It would benefit from an additional mirror in the room as we only had the one in the bathroom. There were a couple of issues with catching the lift down to reception as there was only one, not the end of the world but would have been nice not to have to use the stairs (especially with bags).
The hotel was decorated to a high standard throughout and felt very modern. Facilities were good and the wine hour was an extremely nice touch which enhanced our trip. Good location as it is in walking distance to bus stops and the metro. Staff very always very friendly and happy to help.
