I loved everything about Kanalhuset.

This beautiful hotel was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed and I have stayed in many places in Europe. It was an exceptionally clean, beautiful historic building within walking distance to the center of Copenhagen and also close to the Metro for going further. We were upgraded to a wonderful and spacious apartment. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice stay in Copenhagen.

Not happy that I was not informed when I checked in about the social dinners. I came back after a long day of work wanting to eat but was informed that it was full and I had to go out and find dinner. No conditioner in the shower.

Hardly anything, maybe except the temperature control in the rooms which weren't too adaptive. But this is me knit picking here.

Everything about this stay was fantastic - we stayed in a first floor apartment which was very spacious and airy and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very courteous and friendly and we also loved the breakfast and lunch - DO NOT MISS the Smorrebrod lunch, it's absolutely fabulous food. Also the location is perfect to travel anywhere or even walk along the canal on a crisp, sunny day.

If traveling with kids, opt for a room that's not too close to the stairs to avoid potential noise disturbances, especially after dinner.

This is the perfect place to stay for any trip to Copenhagen. We opted for the apartment and were pleasantly surprised by the super comfortable, spacious room we got for our 4-night stay, complete with a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment was cleaned daily, which was a delightful bonus. Kanalhuset organizes social dinners every night, offering the chance to enjoy a delicious meal in great company and meet some locals. The location is wonderful, just a 15-minute walk from the famous colorful houses and only a couple of metro stations away from other charming neighborhoods. The restaurant is cozy and well-organized, providing a conducive environment for work, almost like a nice coworking space. The coffee was also excellent!

Very friendly staff that upgraded us without even having to ask. Very accommodating and made a separate dinner plate for us when we arrived late. Responsive, convenient location especially for getting from airport . The room had a lot of amenities including kitchen that was fully equipped

Nothing this place is incredible

The best city hotel we have stayed in. Fantastic location. The Danish decor is beautiful. The location perfect. The staff universally polite, friendly and warm- what a fantastic advertisement for their city. We ate at the hotel on our first evening in their special ‘family dining’ restaurant- the Danish friends we met recommended most of the restaurants and experiences we did for the rest of our holiday.

Old building, plumbing hasn’t been done properly so there was a little stench in the bathroom. Staff is so busy they didn’t bring me preordered baby bed, until reminded few times. Turned out they ran out of baby beds. But one of the guys working there turned the attic upside down and found a spare, that’s a good save. Portions are really small & price is a bit on the higher end for simple Danish breakfast.

Owner has an excellent taste for classic Danish design culture. Nice collection of vintage furniture and porcelain. Historic building in a pretty part of Christianshavn. Popular hidden gem for those who are in the know. Cool and hip place.

Ventilation in the bathroom

The hotel is beautifully decorated inside. Every Space to share is special in itself, adorned with pieces of art and gorgeous furniture. It has the most pleasant and relaxant atmosphere. The food is delicious, made with heart. Even the cocktails were made with great talent. We had a marvelous time here.

The rubbish bin is too small and I need to open the cover before drawing the rubbish. Should have face tissue to use.

I had an amazing stay at KanalHuest. The hotel is beautiful the interiors are so tasteful and the staff are very welcoming. On arrival I was greeted with a pot of tea perfect for cold and rainy February evening and I was lucky as I was upgraded to an apartment. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Copenhagen and also very close to the metro. Also KanalHuest is so much more than a hotel it feels like a community the communal dining is excellent, the food is delicious and I met some really interesting people tourists and Danes alike and picked up some great tips for my visit to Copenhagen. I also really enjoyed the yoga class and braved the harbour swim which was invigorating. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great option for solo travellers too.

Room was a little hot and we had trouble with the thermostat, we should have asked for help so that's on us!

Kanalhuset is one of the most special properties I've ever stayed at. The location is gorgeous and only blocks from the Metro. The staff & restaurant are incredible and it's super clean and comfortable. Wow.

Unfortunately, the tube in the shower was a bit stuck. Therefore, the water didn’t go away immediately in the shower.

The location was perfect. It was easy to get there. Also, due to the central location it was very convenient to matigste around the city and get to any tourist attraction. The staff was friendly.
