The payment for parking was quite expensive.

We had a room facing the sea so the view was fantastic. Also the position of the hotel was very close to the center of town and also the ferry to Odde Sjeland.

Missing a bottle of water and water kettle for making coffee and tea in the room like most this class hotel. Expensive fee for parking (20EUR) even the hotel is located 3km away from the city center.

Fitness area is really poor. Cardio machines are not working. 4 pair of dumbells with max being 9kg. No pull up bar, no bench. Excercise atlas being the only one usefull however only one person at a time can use it and it doesn’t work very smooth. Fitness ball, mats are there. It would be really great to upgrade this a little since there is nice view on sea

Great sea view from your room. Huge window. Great area for walks, running. Direct access from hotel building to beach. Swimming pool and sauna (both dry and wet) are really great.

The hotel is located in a good location, with a beautiful view of the sea,, has a swimming pool, fitness, sauna, everything as described in the offer, breakfast, gluten free, vegan... We are very satisfied with our choice of hotel 😊

Room at the parking lot is really overpriced. Very disappointed when I saw it. You can't open the curtains as you'll be stared at by smoking men. So much for privacy. Go for the sea view. Hotel in general needs updating, old furniture and carpets in general areas. Room at seaside was nice. Ventilatorpipe in the bathroom is blocked and continuous noisy. But had a great stay and will be back.

Location is good, and so was the service. On the website it states that the rooms with view on the forest have a bathtub: they don't. Also was my view not the forest, but the parking lot?! That room was really not worth the money and I requested a bathtub. Girl at the reception offered room at seaview. Had to pay 150 DKK extra, but it was absolutely worth it. Great view, firm and comfortable bed, good breakfast and nice small swimmingpool.

The hallways to the rooms and the interior of the hotel itself look outdated.

View onto the sea from my room. Hearing the waves is best way to fall asleep The shower in my room was excellent: very hot and strong pressure. Continental breakfast is as you expect it to be. Woods next to hotel to have a run or stroll.

There was literally no food on Sunday evening. The Bar was also closed. This was a problem. It’s not walking distance to any restaurants. Hotel was a bit dated and no iron in the bedroom - an iron room on the lower ground floor.

Location was amazing -right at the sea front. By the forest. Superb. Gorgeous fresh air and sea sounds.

Seems a bit old fashioned and not very environmentally friendly to still have small shampoo, soap etc. samples in rooms. Same in the buffet - a lot of individually wrapped food items (butter, ketchup etc.) the shower - not a fan of shower in a bath tub

Very overpriced for a hotel of this age. Walls and doors are in severe need of maintenance and bathroom looks like an institution from the 1970s. Bed was hard and pillows very flat. Upon arrival the receptionist didn't tell us any information about breakfast or how to get to our room. We actually got lost when trying to find it. We only stayed here due to an event in the Varna Palæet nearby. Parking is 150 DKK per day to park at the hotel even if you have a room! This seems very greedy! There is free public parking nearby so you can avoid this fee if you are up for walking 5-7 minutes with your luggage.

Room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Furniture was nice and modern. Curtains are efficient in blocking out the light (in some rooms). The lounge area in the foyer is a nice place to sit and relax.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room. (Drinks were available at Reception, but that's not convenient late at night or early morning). This is a facility that comes as standard in most 3 or even 2 star hotels nowadays Charge of 150Dk for parking. This isn't a city centre hotel. Having asked for a room with a walk-in shower , we were given a wheelchair accessible bathroom (which was OK) but I have a couple of suggestions....The shower area needs a shelf or ledge to put bottles of shampoo etc, rather than having to put them on the floor. Also, although a wet room, a longer shower curtain would prevent water from spreading too far.

Excellent location. Good leisure facilities with swimming pool/sauna/beach. Good choice for breakfast.

- No lift after the 1st floor to the ground, so, you need to carry your luggage by yourself down to the rooms - Being a Muslim, I couldn't sleep facing my legs towards Mecca. Limited rooms with beds not facing that direction. - Meal options for breakfast usually had pork sausages or ham and no other meat options like chicken or lamb etc. - Electric kettles are not available in the room

- The room's view was beautiful. - The location is great as it faces the beach but also adds to the disadvantage of not having any eateries around the place - The staff was courteous and always ready to help.
