The room itself was small but ok. Noise from upstairs were the only nuisance.

The room was small and old. The shower was bad and the light in the room wasn't really nice. The room was out to the road where cardoors was slammed.

The location is great, quite and just outside a really nice restaurant if needed, the room was very spacious and clean with a great shower and the breakfast was perfect. Also helped keep my bike off the main road and in the inner court yard which was really good of them

Very nice building and interior. Authentic and cosy. Quite up-to-date and well equiped. One of the better hotels in this part of the world. Good restaurant, nice breakfast. Good beds.

The rooms were basic, which is fine, but the price was quite extraordinary for that. The air in the whole building was also pretty warm and damp despite it being fresh outside.

Nice hotel. Some rooms are sligthly better than others (carpet vs nice wooden planks). No tv in the rooms. Dogs are allowed. Breakfast is fine. Lunch/dinner is possible and very delicious with local ingredients. We tried 3 dishes, all tasty (steak, chicken and pork breast). The pork breast had a very nice apple sauce.

The family room we stayed in was very basic - no air conditioning, no TV, no tea/coffee making facilities. Given the price, we might have expected a bit more comfort. It was a hot night, so we left the windows open, which meant the church bells could be heard every hour (though this did not disturb us). We asked to have a drink in the pretty courtyard before dinner. This was agreed, though it was not possible to look at the dinner menu while doing so.

Charming hotel in a 19th century building right on the main square of a small market town. It is an easy 30km drive to the Rødby ferry. Parking is free on the square. The restaurant was of high quality for dinner and the breakfast was very nice as well. The port area makes for a pleasant walk.

rooms need fixing (peeling off corners, handle of the bathroom door didn't have a single tight screw, etc), no TV in the room, and two trucks unloading supplies for the hotel right under our window first at 04:45, then around 6 o'clock. Since first truck had metal trolleys with linen, they were extremely laud on stone pavement, so we were all awake all the time it was there.

Old house, lot of stairs - watch out if you have knee or walking challenges. With no air-conditioning, the second-floor room got very hot. Quality of cleaning varied from day to day.

The room was full of big black spiders and lots of spider web. Plus overall very dirty. As the reception was closed and no one to contact I left and had to sleep in the car.

Lovely atmosphere. Perfect location close to ferry from Germany. Absolutely fantastic food in the restaurant. Breakfast is great. Lovely farm shop connected to the hotel.

The hotel rooms defintely need to be refurbished. Electric installation is very old. We booked a table in their restaurant for 19h30. It took a long time to take our order. The young an very unfriendly waitress told us then that it was too late for a 3 course menu. We could either have a starter and a main or a main and a dessert. Service was very slow. It took them 2 hours to serve a main, a dessert and a coffee. The young waitress put the dish of our 5 year old girl on the table as if she were a dog. The price for one night and that kind of service was definitely not worth the money. Better choose another hotel!!!

no tv in the room although confirmed in the reservation, room very basic like somthing from the 1970 ies !!! Dinneprice for the room too high ask for a discount due to especially lack of TV, but refused by the reception, Not happy

The bathroom and electricals in the room were dated and a bit shabby. For the price I was expecting more.

It’s worth staying here just because of the food. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Fresh, local produce. The building itself is beautiful, the room was cozy an quiet.
