Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe tents had no ventilation, housekeeping were starting cleaning at 7/8am which was loud and frustrating for those sleeping. The tents had very limited space inside, you could only open one person's bag at any time.
Facilities were clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. Available 24/7 too. The breakfast is very simple but well worth the cost

United KingdomI liked everything. Sharing the bathroom and shower is not the best, but the value for money justify that.
I really enjoyed the stay in Urban Camper, specially because of the staff and common areas. Friendly atmosphere for lots of different types of people. I would recommend it.

DenmarkLoud music during the day time at the common area.
The tents were super cute and it was nice having great private beds. Silent time after 10 pm was great!

United KingdomThere are no windows to open. I'm a fresh air person and found the air to be quite thick. Also the tents can get too hot and there is no circulation.
Nice lounge/bar with plenty of light. Will be nice when they finish the rooftop patio as I like to sit outside in fair weather.

The sleeping area was very well sound proofed from the communal area. Comfy beds and the tent space was cosy. Great shower area. Yummy but simple breakfast.

ItalyThe rooms are very basic and minimal. Perhaps a bit more furniture would be appreciated. The train passes right behind the building. This makes some rooms very noisy from early morning. The number of bathrooms is reduced compared to dorms, making them a bit inaccessible at some times.
It is a great solution for a trip on a budget. The state of the bathrooms is good, they’re very clean. The staff is very friendly and the hostel nights were nice and with cool vibes.

NorwayThe people were very loud at all times of the day. I imagine this is because they feel like the tents are sound proof when this is clearly not the case. I don’t know what the solution is but it could be problematic to some (such was the case for us).
We really loved the camping theme. It was very unique and a good experience overall. The place is well-located and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was also very clean and well organised.

United KingdomAcoustics were not good (from my tent, I could hear the other guests talking loudly and having intimacy). If you are looking for a place to have a good sleep at night, I wouldn’t suggest here. Day-staff members wery welcoming and friendly (specially Laura and Mauro). Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about night-staff (there aren't USB plugs in the single-occupation tents, and the night-staff members were very reluctant to charge my phone, even for just one-time till I could look for a place to buy an adaptor).
The bar on the first floor.

Czech RepublicTo be honest, I booked this because of the novelty of the tent, but I wish I spent more time on research and picked a different accommodation as there were many in similar price. I was not happy that they don't provide you with a padlock, since there is no lockable door to the tent so someone can grab your things at any time. Honestly you can find better for the same price.
It was a typical hostel. Bathrooms were fine, public-bathroom type of vibe, but enough to take care of your hygiene. Remember to take your own towel and flip flops. Location was also fine, close to the metro, could be closer to the city centre but it was fine.
