The apartment was beautifully comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and we had soup for dinner one evening which was like being home with the family.

There is no shampoo and only a bar of soap provided. You can have dinner for US$17 pp which we did. It was nice food and nicely presented. However the bill had an additional 12% tax that we did not expect (and did not see anywhere else on the island). I did not like this "American" approach.

Large room with beautiful set-up. Fan in the room but no AC, which was OK as it seems to be cooler in this location. Steep drive up, so take it slowly. :) In a beautiful mountain setting.

Beautiful Lodge on a hill surrounded by wonderful nature. Very kind amd helpful hosts, great breakfast and dinner and they also offer tours which are very recommended. We would definetly come back again!

We could've used a few extra linens but we were there for such a short time it didn't matter and we didn't even bother to ask, lol.

Very remote and peaceful location, in the true, lush, splendour of the moutains. I was only there for a short time but I would love to return, it would be an amazing place for a retreat. Carina was sooo pleasant and helpful, our room was very tidy and neatly appointed, very comfortable. Also appreciated the delicious dinner (served by the most adorable young waitress ever :-) ) and arranging of taxi rides.

We were told how to get hot water in the shower, but we could not figure it out later. Probably our fault.

We liked the family who ran the lodge. Everyone was very nice and very good at their jobs. Our accomodations here were nicer than at Hibiscus Valley Inn. Pagua Bay resort is another option. We ate there but did not stay there.

Dominica is an amazing country, I wished I could have stayed longer

Serenity lodges deserves the highest credit. From the moment I arrived to the lodge , I fell in love with this place immediately. Wowww, pictures cannot describe the beauty of the nature. The lodge is situated in the middle of the rain forest, the trees, the flowers, the birds, the sounds of nature - you can all experience this at Serenity Lodges. The room is very cosy, well equipped with coffee facilities - you feel like at home. Wifi is super fast. The host - Lester picked me up from the airport, very friendly and helpful. You need to try the cuisine at the guesthouse - fish with rice and mango was awesome. Dinner was superb and sooooo delicious. I truly enjoyed my time at Serenity Lodges. Dominica is a beautiful country with friendly people and it deserves more attention from tourism. If you love nature and you wanna have a real experience in the rain forest - this is the best place to stay. PS. The hosts can support you with airport transfers, tours, food so do not hesitate to contact them.

I don’t know how anyone could give this lodge anything but a perfect rating for everything! It’s such an amazing place to stay, close to the airport and other things to do around the island but also hidden away in the mountains— you’re surrounded by a lush landscape. Falling asleep at night to all the sounds of the birds and animals around the forest was so peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and make you feel right at home. Breakfast & dinner was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone!!

Extremely friendly hosts! Carina and Lester are amazing hosts. After having spend about a week in Roseau, it was a real pleasure to enjoy the silence and a lovely garden at Serenity Lodge! Thank you for having had a lovely stay for one day !

Might need a car if you’re looking to explore as it’s in the forest.

Super close to the airport but still right within the forest and in nature. The scenery around the lodges are beautiful, and the views from the rooms/breakfast is stunning. The people are so, so lovely! They will give you recommendations, help you plan the trip and let you know the best way to do things. They also plan great tours to help you explore the island. Would recommend highly!

everything was great

The property was ideal, it was just what we wanted to conclude our trip to Dominica. The location was perfect with great hosts who did everything possible to make our short stay memorable. When we visit Dominica again this is a must lodge to stay.

A TV in the room would be a nice option in the evening. A hotter shower in the higher water levels would be nice. Not sure a walk on foot to shops is really possible.

Lovely, set back location. Great owners. Always willing to help. Offering breakfast and evening meals is a big bonus. As there were no shops nearby on foot.

shower was a little hard to figure out the hot water. The lovely owner explained it to us but I had difficulty so I had a cold shower but then we figured it out.

Beautiful with lots of flowers and gardens owners were wonderful and were able to drive us very early at 6 AM to the airport and got us there on time

Very welcoming host, and the whole village is welcoming. Easy to ask for any advice or help. Fresh fruit every day – not only something simple but several different kinds. Very nice with a hammock and great to sit and work at the table. Offer to be picked up at the airport for a small fee.

The bed was rather hard; it would also have been nice to have a comfortable chair.

The food was nice. Dinner was a delicious home cooked meal; it could have been a bit more substantial. The bread at breakfast was freshly baked and we liked trying the fruit fresh picked on the property. The view from our porch was lovely; it overlooked a valley and we could see a lot of birds including parrots flying overhead. The family who ran the place was very nice and easy to talk to. They arranged a visit with a local organic farmer which was really interesting.
