It was the only hostel we found in Roseau. Absolutely value for money. Can get great sunset views from just outside the hostel!

I think they are understaffed right now, and Charlotte (who manages the rooms) is clearly stressed out (she will tell you so) and wasn't available to do more than the most basic of cleaning while I was there, so things were getting dirty and I ended up doing the sweeping a few times. The upstairs rooms looked quite nice and the view from the balcony is great; the lower floor is less nice, with a view of a concrete wall, and the middle of the three rooms is a bit dungeon-like.

This hostel is a really well located (just a five-minute walk into Roseau center, grocery store nearby) and the owner, Hubert, is very nice and responsive. It is wonderful to be able to sit out on the porch and look at the ocean!

It wasn't the cleaniest, and as the reviews mentioned, it get very noise, especially at night, so peeing your best pairs of ear plugs. And perhaps a sleep mask Oh, and if you get the upper bunk bed, midnyour head as there's maybe 30-40cm only between the mattress and the ceiling .

I like the proximity of the ocean and the location a bit out of town, so good for my morning jog. Wifi was kinda alright Also, there are huge lockers available (like you literally fit your whole backpack there if you want to) . kitchen was equipped enough, pots, pans, cutlery, microwave, oven, stove, fridge.

Good hostel in the capital of Dominica, close to the center of Roseau (for shopping, eating out) and close to the Botanical Garden (a nice area to relax). The beds are comfortable, the view from the terrace is nice, and in the kitchen you have what you need (fridge, stove, etc.). Some noise from the street (cars), ask for a room not directly on the street if possible.

Extremely bad traffic sounds, especially from 8pm to 3am. Vehicles blasting out music and driving too fast. Motor/quad bikes revving engines like crazy people at totally inappropriate hours. If only the sleeping rooms were sea facing, and the kitchen and washroom was street facing, might have made a small difference

We had an electricity shortcut my last day that lasted at least all morning and until after I left the property. It would have been really nice if some staff member would have come to check on us, if everything is okay and to discuss the details about whether this was a planned outage and if yes how long it was going to last. Some noise from the street at night every now and then, but what are you gonna do?

It was luxury to be alone in my "shared" room. I loved the quality of the mattress, so I slept really good every night. The fan and the thin bedsheets made the heat bareable. The room nicely minimalistic and clean, as was the rest of the property.
