Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomNot negative, just a observation... Love the pool and gardens but it looked better previously when the Cabana beds were at the side of the pool, rather than on the grass. They gave more shade than the current parasols with the loungers.
It's our 2nd time at this wonderful hotel and we had an amazing stay again - Pablo on reception was incredibly kind and went out of his way to make our stay perfect!! He got us the room requested overlooking the pool, he was very helpful and attentive to the customer needs. He deserves so much praise for his work, great representative for the hotel and your company. Our room was perfection, the housekeeping staff were amazing. The pool and grounds were beautiful... loved everything about our stay. The hotel is located in a fantastic area, very safe to walk around and close to a lovely shopping area. Always enjoy our time at Plaza San Juan. Can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel - thank you to Pablo and all the amazing staff for making our stay so great :))

I liked everything about this hotel. This is probably the only hotel that doesnt charge you for your service dog or make you book a more expensive room because of it. I love the hotel I love the staff and I love Marriott hotels. The best of the best!

Breakfast was great. The variety of food items was perfect. The lawn area was ideal because I wanted an area to exercise and run. The pool and the chairs were cleaned and well maintained. United KingdomThe big team of gardeners were working around the pool for a whole day of our 3 day stay - it was incredibly noisy. We also noticed they were about to spray pesticide in the gardens near the pool with guests around… not good and could have made everyone very ill!! We complained and they stopped immediately but that shouldn’t have been done with guests around and not in the hottest point of the day. Reception staff Francoise was great but we never heard anything from the Manager, even though we complained via Marriott Bonvoy about this.
The hotel was beautiful and well maintained, the pool was amazing. Loved the delicious cocktails… best Mojito I’ve ever had!! The rooms were lovely, wonderful view over the pool… everything was very clean, staff were all very kind and helpful. The hotel is situated in a fantastic area… close to two shopping malls, supermarkets and very easy to get an Uber.
