I suggest putting a few electric mosquito repellent devices on the lobby of the hotel. This was not a big deal, but resolving it could improve the experience of the guests. Some of the rooftop chairs were broken and can be replaced.

Great place for this price. We enjoyed our stay. We had day-long tours booked and only needed a comfortable place to take shower and sleep at. The rooftop is very nice and our rooms were spacious. The hosts are very friendly and approachable.

Bed was extremely comfortable, Hot Shower, Large room with Streaming Services like Netflix available on the TV. Walking Distance to beach, supermarkets and a good range of restaurants.

The internet was quirky at times. Breakfast could use more variety.

The room was large and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The hotel was close to several restaurants and the beach, The manager, Alex, was very helpful.

The street C. Aida Cartagena Portalatin can seem a bit shady, but I walked it as a single female in the evening from dinner and had no issues. You can always take the main street Ave. Alemania. For the hotel itself, just replace the pillows (old/stained under the pillowcase) and use a second pillow case for hygiene. This is an issue for so many hotels I’ve been to. I actually travel with my own hypoallergenic pillowcase.

The property was a great price for what you get. The room had a fridge/microwave/coffee machine setup. AC wasn’t strong enough in the first room but they moved me to another room and it worked good along with the WiFi. The shower worked great, hot water only took a minute to heat up. The room was clean and cutely decorated. Had a nice chair I could relax in and view the pool and grounds of the apartments next door. No problems using the address to locate the place. It’s only a 5 minute walk to several restaurants (Citrus, Bella Napoli) /bars (Kat’s Corner has a band on weekends) and grocery store (Supermercado Ciccolella) and a few minutes further to the beach. It’s a 10 minute walk to Villa Blanca Beach Club which is free to sit at the lounge/umbrella setups- just buy a drink or snack. Next to that is Flamingo Bar and the tourist shopping market. The staff were very helpful and made the stay even more pleasant.

Nothing about this place! Hard bed, huge cockroaches in room, toilet was very dirty, door had cracks in it wide enough to show light coming through, could not sleep from brightness in room,and because bed was hard, and scared more bugs would come. Stayed only fee hours to rest before going airport and was terrible. Asked for receipt and host didn't know what I was asking for!

Tiny ants in the room. No racks for bags to keep them of the floor.

No blackout curtains. Lots of noise from cars and motorcycles late into the night and early mornings, not to mention the roosters. Bad for people with sleeping problems.
