For the price and location I wouldn’t expect anything else. The uniqueness and location of the hotel is perfect.

The breakfast at Bluemare was excellent and they catered the food to our need. They don’t have a wide range of options but we had no complaints. The staff was very accommodating and extremely pleasant with everything we asked. As a matter of fact the breakfast exceeded our expectation. We were a group of seven and the breakfast portions were plentiful and served family style which we loved. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We had our double deck cabana and we had a awesome time partying and having a great time. They even provided us with a huge Bluetooth speaker and microphone for us to sing, dance and have e great time in front or what seemed to be our own private beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a fun and relaxing vacation. The place, staff and location exceeded our expectation.

We were informed upon arrival that their credit card machine doesn't work, and we needed to pay cash. That mean driving 10 min. to the nearest ATM and back on the day of the checkout. They didn't warn us ahead of time, so do check on that before going. I assume their CC machine is either permanently out of order or doesn't exist. Oh, and they did construction in the next room - on Easter Sunday, but stopped once I threatened to leave without paying. :)

It's just a blissful spot right on the tranquil bay. It helped that we scored the best room (second floor, with a balcony and a hammock). The staff is super friendly, the room was spacious, the view great. Breakfast was decent, dinner was good - the fried fish was excellent, albeit overpriced. Overall, I highly recommend this idyllic spot. I've never seen such calm and shallow water for hundreds of meters in.. And you can walk the entire length of the beach and not encounter anybody. Truly amazing.

I wish a bit more care was taken in terms of the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Also, the yard is decorated super nicely but some of the chairs and lounges are broken, so repairing them would give the hotel a better impression. There was some plastic rubbish washing on the shores of the ocean and cleaning those would improve the experience of visitors. The restaurant is nothing special but the prices are relatively high. Offering cheaper catering options, in my opinion, will improve the quality of stay. Lastly, the breakfast portions should be bigger!

When we visited it was amazingly quiet and relaxing to wake up by the ocean and watch the waves. The water is so blue, one cannot take their eyes off it. The hotel staff is extra friendly and kind, and we appreciated it a lot. The room had everything we needed and the hammock was the best! Also enjoyed playing basketball in the garden and the Cayo Arena tour they organized for us, a lot!

Because you are out in nature and right on the beach it is normal for there to be insects. The hotel staff did spray for the mosquitoes when we made mention of it.

During our stay we had a great experience, thanks to the staff, Elvis, Angel, and Fausto. They were tremendously attentive and took care of any needs that we had. Angel prepared a very special meal for us and it was very fresh. I requested fresh fruits and they were served at each meal. It was the perfect experience, thanks to the people that made it possible. The room was nice. My favorite part was opening the glass sliding door in the morning to the ocean view and hearing the waves. The beach is essentially in your front yard. This is a perfect place for someone seeking a quiet, peaceful stay, with not many other people and okay with not being in the center of a bustling city. This is definitely a beach getaway.

I thought the price point was off. We payed restaurant prices for a meal that couldn't have been prepared by a chef and the rooms felt unfinished. All of it was lovely but too expensive for what it is.

The location was stunning, we had one of the beach front rooms and it really was breathtaking.

We loved this place. The decor was beautiful , loved the titanic replica. Many picture worthy spots within the location. Great service by everyone and exceptional service by Franklin. He did everything possible to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back

I loved the location, I loved the staff but the hotel is slightly dated and it’s not staff’s fault if the owners of this facility do not wish to upgrade.

Chef Angel made a delicious breakfast with suggestions based on our request and it came with an amazing juice! I wish the coffee was stronger but they made magic with what’s available to the staff.

Let’s start by saying this property is managed by the owners. We got to the property earlier and stayed on the beach while it was time for us to check in. By the time of check in, the female owner directed us to our room, there was no mention about payment so I assumed my reservation was already taken care off through booking.com. When we returned the keys and we’re about to leave the female owner came up to us and said that we needed to pay and I told her I had assumed the reservation was paid already, she said no you have to pay here. I said ok I’ll look for my credit card and she said, no I only accept cash or direct deposit. I told her she never mentioned before she didn’t accept credit card payments and I didn’t have cash to pay so after some back and forth my cousin decided to pay her for the entire reservation cash. When we see loading our luggage into the car the husband (owner) of the place came up to us yelling. Mind you my 95 yr old grandma and my baby nephew were in the middle of all this… Worried about our safety I started recording the whole thing and I have it on video. To my surprise, when I arrive to the city the opened up a complain saying that I didn’t pay for my reservation. I’m uploading the video on my social media for all of you to see. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.
