Its a small ecological hotel in El Valle about 7 kilometers of Samana City. The bungalows are well equipped with Tv ,fridge ,oven ,plates and utensils for those having an extended stay. The owners are friendly and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Dinner and breakfast were great with homemade delicious bread and cakes.El VAlle beach with a river mouth are about 1 km far.Unfortunately beach was closed due to turtle nesting season. There also quad rentals and zip lines close. We had a short but enjoyable stay and will return with great pleasure.

    Aggressive Dogs in El Valle

We were attacked by wild dogs in front of the accommodation and suffered serious bite injuries and had to be immediately hospitalized for 6 hours due to the risk of rabies and wound healing. As a result, we no longer had the confidence to leave the accommodation on foot without any worries and had to cut short our stay. What's really a shame is that the security person was still making fun of it when we arrived immediately after the wild dogs attacked. The place is not allowed to be visited at night without a car. The host should have pointed out that arriving was not recommended, especially at night. The room was very small for two people (160x200)

the nature is breathtaking. the host is very friendly and helpful.

everything would be good but the hair in the bed... The room itself looked clean but the cleanliness of the bed really disappointed. I would not complain about one hair, but there was a lot of it.

Friendly service on check in, a lot of useful information provided by the host, hotel premises - beautiful and well maintained

The idea was great the results were not. The toilet and shower were right next to each other in the family room. which would have been perfectly fine in a none family suite. also the shower curtains did not stay up because the installation was poorly done. when you shower the bedroom gets flooded so be sure to have all belongings on the bench and not the floor or they will get wet. Also the bathroom is not separate from the room there is no ceiling or door for the bathroom even though the bedroom is completely enclosed. If the room was a bit more open like windows or an opening to the outside this would not be an issue. But if someone has to have a bowel movement the whole family has to sit in the concentrated smell or leave completely there’s not much outdoor circulation and there’s also no vents or AC. Also they will charge your card AB’s then make you pay again once you arrive. You will be passing double for the room and it is up to you to fight with your bank to receive your money back.

this property was a bad imitation of the Dominican Tree House hotel. She tried but it was definitely a miss.

Nothing I didn’t like. I loved it everything!

I loved how welcoming and friendly Cristina and her mother are. They were always checking in on us making sure we were having a good time and a comfortable stay. We had breakfast and dinner almost everyday (made by Maribel, the mom). Her cooking is so so good. In all honesty, they treated us like family and for that reason I’d say this is one of the best places I’ve stayed in! The property itself felt super super safe- no complaints there. I would stay here again and encourage others to do so as well!

The perfect accommodation to relax in the middle of nature!

The accommodation has a perfect location in the middle of nature. From there you can walk to the beautiful waterfall and the great beach. The supermarket is also only a few minutes away. The hosts were all very friendly and very helpful and gave us great tips for the area. The dogs in the accommodation were also all very sweet and playful :). The accommodation offers a very tasty breakfast and a three course menu in the evening. Definitely try the dinner, this is prepared on the spot and every day different alternatives are provided. Since there is no ATM on site yet, you should definitely pack enough cash. I can therefore only recommend the bungalows to relax, discover the nature or play with the dogs.

The road is a bit bumpy

Villa India is just stunning. It is located in El Valle; beatiful landscape; very calm and very safe; natural and cozy. The bungalows are very accomodating; with confortable beds, hot water and mosquito nets to secure a grear sleep. The dogs are really friendly. Cristina makes you feel at home since the first moment
