I can say nothing bad about this place. 100% best spot in La Romana!

The. Best. Service. Ever! I've been to resorts and nothing can compare to the warmth of the host. Breakfast was unexpectedly included and the place was as safe as a vault. The host was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable.

The location wasn't close to anything walkable and we had to take an Uber to go out to dinner. Our hostess did not recommend we walk anywhere, especially at night.

Our hostess was really great. She really cared and was sure to let us know the current exchange rate before we went out to avoid being scammed. She made breakfast and coffee for us. It was a really great place.

Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

The location worked for us however wouldn’t necessarily work for everyone. Nearby some sketchy areas however building safe and secure. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

Friendly host. She made us breakfast even though it wasn’t included in cost of place. The place was super clean. Extremely good value for money. Our room was quiet despite noise on the street at times.

We only spent there 1 night as we were only in La romana to go to Catalina Island so we didn’t get to know much about the city and what are the places you would want to go there; however, we walked to Casa Maria from the city center as it was only a half an our walk and that’s something I would never do again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone, it isn’t nice! So, while the actual neighbourhood Casa Maria is in is very very nice, it’s not good if you want to walk to places that are even only 2km away.

It was all very clean and comfortable. The room was very ample and it has a couple of fans plus an air conditioning unit so we had a really good night sleep. The street the house is in is really nice and it feels like a safe neighbourhood. Maria was lovely and very helpful…

We caught them off guard and had to wait quite some time (2 hours) for the room and to be ready. They explained that they had to bring people to the airport. We understood, and they did their best to return and ensure the room was clean and inviting.

The accommodation is lovely, and the staff even more so. A great location if you're going to a baseball game in La Romana. The breakfast served in the morning was great!

Excellent place to stay. We used it to bridge the time between two cruises. Bus station to Santo Domingo in walking distance. Very clean place. Hot water in shower. Silent A/C. Spacy living room to meet other travellers. Very nice interior. Fantastic hosts, that were very friendly, exceptional helpful that let one feel really at home. We got pampered. Safe and quiet place to stay. French or Spanish knowledge is an advantage. Have not been to places like this that often.

The wifi didn't work well in the room. Worked fine in the common area. Not a good location. Nothing in walking distance; about 30+ min walk to a supermarket and 50 min to beach. Only a few corner stores around. Good if having a car.

The room and the common area were clean and decorated nicely. Bathroom was a nice size. The owners were nice and even booked us a cheaper taxi than what we were originally offerred by a taxi firm. Prepare to speak in Spanish or French or use google translate. The room had ac. The area is safe.
