This is a sweet little hotel, well located in the Colonial Zone with parking easy to find on the street outside. The rooms are arranged around the charming central courtyard and they have created a lovely roof garden with a small bar and relaxing chairs for anyone wanting some sunshine or simply a place to relax. The staff are absolutely lovely - warm, friendly and helpful - and although the rooms are a little dated, they are in keeping with the character of the hotel which was ideal for our short stay.

The staff, just lovely and could not be more helpful. Went out of their way to do whatever they could to assist. The top floor and snug ground floor pool where a delight.

Breakfast delicious, the room was beautiful but The bedroom doesn't have TV control, so turn on and turn off the tv should be manually, the control was for the deco of the internet, the swimming pool is beautiful but I never was cleaned and the last day there is a green thing on the floor of the pool

There is small space for breakfast and I would recommend making breakfast a bit more tasteful. The first room I was given wasn’t so comfortable, sheets were clean but stained and mattress winked in the middle. Second room that I asked for was a lot better regarding cleanness and comfort.

The location of this property was great. The social areas of the hotel are also very convenient if you are there for hanging out or working.

No soap for washing hands (but there Was shower gel in the shower), water in jacuzzi was smelly.

the fact that the free parking was just street parking, and spots outside the hotel were hard to find anytime after 5pm so ended up parking further away and then having to move the car around 8pm when closer spots became available

the location was good, the room was comfortable and good for the price we paid not sure i would be happy paying much more $50 a night for a room. Breakfast was adequate nothing special

There are some hazards in the pool area which could cause serious inhury. There also wasn't a lot of choice at the terrace bar.

The staff were so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are also very comfortable, and we loved the terrace. Very good value for money.

there was a power cut throughout the block when we were there so the hotel had to work off a generator and therefore AC wasn’t working. this wasn’t the hotel’s fault though.

nice big bathroom and gave us choice of rooms when we arrived. also good tv choice with Amazon firestick available.

tv didn’t work in the room and Wi-Fi connection was not enough to work. I was a little disappointed the bar wasn’t open when I stayed.

Not a very big breakfast and the coffee is self-service so don't expect too much. We got a room for three and one had to sleep on the couch (which was expected) but it was quite uncomfortable, and I think two people wouldn't fit. Extras are quite expensive (a beer for $6.5).

Great location in the center of the Zona Colonial. Nice rooms (loved that each room has the name of some historical personality of the Dominican history and there's a little explanation on their life). We didn't use the pool but it's definitely a plus and there's also a very nice terrace on the first floor. Friendly staff.

Wifi terrible and often off. Pricy breakfast. Rooms need to be modernised and cleaning more thorough. Towels were wore down. No soap but just shower gel. View on a courtyard with tons of rubbish.

Nice staff. Great location. Free water and drinks in the room. Free tea and coffee by the pool. different styles of rooms. I liked the doors that close with personalised code. Great common area, decorated with style. I like the small library with books to borrow.

The wifi was terrible: didn’t always connect and often disconnect not to come back for a while. I do not understand why there is no soap but we are forced to use gel. I think that some appliances should be renewed - it looked often old. I thought the breakfast was very expensive for what it was although it was good. my room next to réception was noisy and did not have curtains on all windows.

The location is great and the staff very nice. I liked the old authentic style and the inside Court with the pool. I like that there were several places where to seat in the common parts and that there was free tea and coffee.
