Really nice hotel. In the heart of zona colonial

The morning of our checkout I noticed a stain on one corner of the duvet cover. It was red (clearly blood). I dismissed it knowing that neither me nor my wife had gotten a cut, or bled nor ate in the room (although it was clearly not red sauce). However, a few minutes later, at checkout; they sent someone to check the room and they sent a picture of the stained duvet and charged me a fee for it. I didn't check before so I didn't argue but I could swear it wasn't there for the previous 4 days we were there. So, guest beware and check everything on the day you check in. Other than that we liked the hotel and would stay there again.

We like that it is located in the Zona Colonial and it is very convenient to visit all the historical sites there. We also like that it is located in a quiet street so when you return from your daily and or nightly activities you come to a very quiet area and can rest without any disturbances or noise. It was very clean. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We would stay here again.

You could hear some noise from other rooms.

Location was excellent, just two blocks from main square. Breakfast was at a cafe , which worked well. The room was large and clean. There were no windows, which I knew when booking, this meant no traffic noise but felt a bit claustrophobic after a few days. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful

Location is perfect. You can see all main places by foot and you’ll breakfast just in front of Cathedral!

There wasn't soap on the room, the safety box wasn't attached to the wall, anybody was able to just grab the safe and walk away with it.

The beds were very hard. No elevator so be aware you’ll need to carry your luggage up to your room.

It was clean and in a great location! It’s easy to walk around the Colonial Zone and to get to restaurants.

The kitchen lacks an electric kettle I had some problems with the air conditioner, it was very cold

Nice and clean, some noise in the evening, but none at night.

1. Mini refrigerator did not get cold 2. Old school key locks rather than key card or code. Had room number on keychain 3. Shower was very small and there was a step up into the bathroom which I tripped on frequently 4. I checked out a day early, the hotel was not sold out and they would not refund me 1 night's stay.

Nice hotel for the price in a good area to walk to a lot of restaurants and bars. Hot water in the shower.

Great location at the center of Zona Colonial. The receptionists are always friendly and responsive (in English too), and they were able to store my luggage before check-in (I arrived early). The hotel is very clean. The room is spacious and comfortable. The shower is great (hot water always available, water pressure is perfect), the bed is comfortable and the WiFi worked great and fast in my room. No elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. The price is really affordable so overall it’s a great value for money.

Everything was clean, but the drain in the shower was clogged and the water did not go out. As we checked in very late - we did not ask to fix. But I am sure it would be fixed immediately. Also there is no windows, at least in our room. But there was enough fresh air still

The location is perfect! We also very thankful for night check in- we had late arrival of the flight and asked to accommodate us at 3 am! For the team it was not a problem. The breakfast in the heart of the city - tasty and healthy

The attention of the staff is not always the best. It is something common not only here but in almost all bars, restaurants, taxis, museums, and other places in the Dominican Republic. They tend to be inattentive and unreceptive, and sometimes they seem peevish. Surely it is not intentional, but it could be annoying for some visitors, considering that in other countries nearby, the attention is a plus.

The room is very comfortable, even for stays of several days. The breakfast is the best of this hotel since it is very varied, and the location of the restaurant makes it ideal to start the day. It is a clean, tidy place, very well located, making it a very good option to stay in Santo Domingo.
