Bartenders were very friendly . Front desk personnel were friendly , hostess at Tuscany very un friendly all 3 days we inquired , made reservation to day we ate there , server also not present . Very few servers at buffet were friendly . Including juice bar and crepe stand .

I was not thrilled with the catering. We have been in other hotels in DR, and the catering was better there. Also the concept of open restaurants looks good in theory, but it does not feel as clean and comfortable in person (there are no walls in any of the restaurants). I think something should be done about food quality as well, as three out of a party of four people had health issues from food. My wife ended up at the doctor in the hotel due to dehydration, our friend had the same problems while flying... Most of the stuff does not speak English - I do not mind that, if there is at least one person at each restaurant that can speak, but there was nobody. I very much do not like the people from hotel "exclusive" programs (whatever it is called in each hotel), as they are quite aggressive when trying to "get" you. We know about it, so we just ignored them... A small design thing - the path to beach and bars is blocked by a fountain, so you always need to walk around through the shops.

The beach is as beautiful as expected from this destination. The hotel itself is very nice - a few "villas" scattered around the premises, nothing too far away. The pool area is really nice, and there was always enough places for us. We had to visit the local doctor (medical), yet it turned out to be a great experience - they had all the necessary stuff at the hotel, the doctor (doctoress?) was very friendly with great bedside manners, so it improved the bad situation a lot. Guest services ladies were very helpful and could speak English really well

Reservations for the restaurants was difficult. Paper work said 24 hours advance reservations required but it ended up being 48 hours in advance. Also you could not make a reservation at the restaurant in person, you had to use an app. We are elderly & not tech savvy, so impossible for us. Language barrier was difficult ( but that is our fault not the resorts or staff) we are in a Spanish speaking Country.

Beach was wonderful. All staff were great. House keeping did a great job. Extra towels, water, soda, beer, were all brought promptly at our request. The resort souvenir shops were not over priced at all and carried what we wanted & needed.

The room is very underwhelming for the price. We didn't end up paying (a small amount) for an upgrade, which might have changed our experience. They were quite hawkish about surcharges, and I didn't want to, despite it being tens of USD. We got used to it though, and enjoyed the overall experience.

Food is amazing. Buffet was solid to great every day. Carribbean restaurant was great! English proficiency wasn't amazing, but we could get by. Pool was okay. Clean overall. Okay beach. Considering it's probably one of the cheaper all inclusive resorts, I'd recommend it.

The room felt old, as the property is. Certain details as the back door not locking completely, the plug situation in the room was a mess, the AC was as loud as it could be and was not cooling much, etc... I asked for a quiet room and was placed right next to the bar and a new construction area. Also, I wish we could have known in advance that we needed to make reservations for most of the restaurants in the property prior to arriving so that we could have made proper arrangements.

I liked the direct access to the beach. The restaurants where you have to make reservations, the food was great but I was not a fan of the buffets. Room stinks in humidity, you don't want this if you don't support a high level of humidity smell. In July the place was overcrowded so it was super hard to get a place at he restaurants at dinner. Staff is not very polite, as in most places I've been there

- the buffet restaurant could be so much better. Few options, chaotic serving experience, basically the same food almost every day. If you're not privileged or ETC, you gonna have problems to eat good food in the breakfast or lunch - too many restricted and exclusive areas, make the beach time experience less democratic and more segregated. I was in the privileged area and still annoyed me.

- The room was awesome, many amenities, two sinks, two walk-in showers, good sound proof glasses on the windows, king size bed. - The beach and the sea are wonderful, most beautiful sea I've ever seen. Cristaline and warm waters, nice and calm waves, it's like a large salt water swimming pool. - Good a la carte restaurants, mostly the Terrace (privileged exclusive), gentle and helpful staff, good prices at the gift shop.

The Terrace restaurant service is a bit slow, each waiter does a different thing and delegates to another person. Apart from that, all good.

The hotel is very beautiful, all the areas are well kept. The beach is amazing, white sand and cristal clear water, calm no waves. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good in all restaurants and there is good entertainment.

The hotel look a bit old. The crew it was not so friendly and nobody alert us the in the hotel exist different kind of tourists. There are a lot of restriction reserves only form “Privilege” category. In the beach, swimming pool, restaurants..its was not confortable!

Most of the staff is not polite at all. The cleaning service was not good, we had to tell them that there were hair in the bathroom since we arrived. The beach volley court is dangerous as it is not properly filled with enough sand. They know, but ignore it. We saw people getting injured and not being helped (at the reception they were laughing instead)

The resort is overall comfortable. Nice beach and well organised. We appreciate the swimming pool and the pool bar as well. Quality of food is average.

Overall our experience was nice. I do not remember something bad except some staff attitude, but again will not consider it as negative.

Nice place to stay, the staff were nice. The restaurants were having nice food. Focused in terms of variety but good cooked. We tried 2 of their restaurants and food was amazing. Room was very nice, comfortable bed, good amenities inside, polite house-keeping staff. Beach was nice as well.
