Front desk staff, never picked up the phones. At times some were very curt and unwelcoming. No directory in the room Power outage a lot, everyday and sometimes for a long time. Food overall was ok at best Need more clarity between adult side of the hotel and family side of the hotel. Example activities and how one has to pay to go visit the adult side

Its not a proper 5 star hotel – bar closes at 11pm, shower in bath, bathroom doors rotting, a/c old and noisy, cools just. We stayed at 4 hotels, while in the Dominican Republic and saved this one for last since it was the most expensive. It badly needs renovation, we moved room 5 times until we were put in 1 with every thing working. A typical palm beach, however, the sea is never clear it varies from a dark/green soup colour to blueish and there are many patches of slimy mud & rocks on the bottom. No this hotel does not make the grade, we went to 3 better and they were all cheaper in price and at better sites.

Food is good and the La Carte restaurants are better than most. Staff are brilliant, helpful and mostly always smiling.

Upon arrival, the room a/c was not working and it took them 24 hours to get us to a different room. A/C problems on the other room too. Be aware that the advertised location is misleading. This hotel is not in La Romana, but in a secluded place like 20 miles away called Nueva Romana. The beach is not very nice. The nighly entertainment is not at par with others in the area, Punta Cana, etc.

Staff in general provided great, amicable service. They go the extra mile to fulfill the guest's needs. Food was somewhat better than expected. Pool area was clean and nicely kept. Took a golf class with a good and cordial pro.

one pool limits options and artificial beach was closed due to storm a few days before. the water pressure was low and the hot water was out of service one day.

close to santo domingo, not too big and not too small. clean and spacious rooms. good food and options for kids. staff was kind and friendly.

The shower glass door inside the bedroom could be more comfortable and don't have the water spill out the bath.

The people's energy and joy is contagious, made us feel on a real vacation. Everyone is very helpful and kind. Many different activities to do every day. We had such a great time. Thank you guys you are the party 😀 the soul of Bahia Principe!!!!

the brandy served in the casino the backing up alarms of the buggies to and from the Bourganvilla, we were in room 3013 not enough beech chairs the dusgusting toilets to the Capricio restaurant not cleaned after use by the pool crowd until after 9pm when the food service was almost over

I think that that there is not much variety in the restaurants menus so work on that a bit. And breakfast- make it till 11am. But that’s little things that didn’t harm the experience

As someone who work in hotels for the last 5 years, boutique hotels and 5 stars hotels. I got to say I’m surprised! The food was surprisingly very good!!!! In the buffet and in the restaurants of the hotel. All of the staff are very kind, nice and helpful I want to thank to everyone and especially darliana and heury from guest service who took care of everything I asked for. Ronal from the front desk who helped me to get my medications on time with pleasure and a big smile! Also drabi, Alejandro, aldo and the rest of the front desk staff who was always helpful and with a big smile. Camili and margarita from housekeeping who were so nice and adorable:) Jose and Francisco from the itailian restaurant, and Juan from the French restaurant - serve with a smile and small talks which is very important. And the one and only - my favorite - Alfred Bautista :) Keeps the energy high in the sky Always here to help with a smile Thank you all for making my time in the DR unforgettable!!! I will be back soon. I promise ♥️

The beach was terrible not a Caribbean ocean at all. The restaurants needed reservations and it was so difficult to get the reservations and the rooms had too much roaches big ones

the rains ruined the beach while we were there so that was disappointing, but not their fault. The rooms do look a little worn out and might need a touch up. There was a lack of communication resources, we never knew when the pool/beach grill opened or closed.

Service was good, kid friendly, pool was nice, small and easy to walk around, buffet had good options, the a la carte restaurants were really good. The spa was really nice. They also had a lot of activities during the day and at night to entertained us.

Food, while in large quantity; was really bland, couldn't eat anything (and enjoy it) after day 3... alcohol.... not what I'm used to, the type i liked you had to pay extra for (not apart of the all inclusive experience) but it was an above average resort. Quite a distance from the airport but a fun ride... Beach huugggeeee but was always brown water (never clear blue and beautiful)... place was also filled with large flies and mosquitoes...

Staff and facilities were great, property huge and clean and well worth the vacation. There were a few staff that stood out on our stay, primarily buffet staff that went out of their way to make stay one we will never forget and for that we are forever grateful...

The waters of the beach was filled with jelly fish. Made it impossible to enter the waters. Pool only.

Outside of our rooms smelled like sewage at times. Our initial room also had the sewage smell and hot switched.

Management and employees were proactive at addressing issues right away. They are also working hard to improve their service. Very friendly staff especially the entertainment team.
