Property overall needs an update. Only one desk chair in room. Food options lacked variety. Would have appreciated breakfast and dinner starting an hour earlier. No ability to make coffee or tea in the room. One salt water pool was chipping on the floor and sides. Womens bathroom off buffet restaurant Smelled like cat pee and drifted into the dining area. Bathroom in lobby- per my husband was filthy…. Too filthy to use so he went to the room.

There were some broken items in the room, like the towel rack. They didn't have the greatest food, but it was acceptable. My son-in-law didn't eat any fish, but he had an allergic reaction like he had eaten fish. So, probably cross contamination. The pina colodas weren't good. No fresh fruit drinks - they were all canned juice. 2 out of 4 people in our party left with some type of food poisoning. We're not 100% sure it was from here, but most likely.

The beachfront (there's no sand, just rock) was amazingly beautiful and we had fun swimming and diving into the ocean. Overall it was a fun stay.

The service and food n the restaurants was pretty sub par but was made up by the buffet.

Had a great experience here. The buffet has good food. I wouldn't waste time with the international or the Italian restaurant(they come with the all inclusive but you reserve at least a day ahead) as the food and service at both was much worse than what you would get at the buffet. the event coordinators were awesome at getting people involved. The resort is very quiet by 9pm so if you're looking for a place that has stuff going all the time this is not it. The water is great, you can take cheap dive excursions right from the shore where you stand to see eagle rays. All in all would definitely visit again just need to know what you want in the resort.

There should be more activities and more music. The majority of the staff doesn’t speak English, sometimes was hard to communicate. We didn’t like the fact that there were cats walking around at the buffet and the other guests were touching or feeding them and after that touching the things at the buffet

Staff in general was amazing, especially the receptionists were very kind and helpful. The hotel was fine and it’s visible that they are improving it. In general there was a nice atmosphere and we enjoyed it. Food was good and it’s nice to have different restaurants to try.

No real beach..should go 15minutes walk to access a public beach. All the pools near the beach were closed because of the weather and the waves..it's dangerous. Same for the restaurants. Only few animations suggested; maybe cancelled because of the weather conditions

Nice view when the weather is calm; we can see the boats crossing very close to the hotel. The quality of the food, fresh juices..etc The staff was kind. It's near to the shops and bayahibe beach and faro de bayahibe..

The rooms need some refurbishing. My basin didn’t have a water block, thus enabling cockroaches or even mice to come through inside the room.

Construction is going on currently but that seemed to be the least thing to worry about. Food is terrible, every bad review I read about the buffet is correct!! All foods should be covered with proper covers/tops. The food was usually cold and tasteless. Flies/gnats flying around the food area. Cats in the dining area, where people are feeding them. Housekeeping is non existent, had a verrry rude housekeeper that was very aggressive and angry all the time. I reported her to the front desk nothing really happened. They approach her with me and she was still aggressive and argumentative even in front of them. I asked to speak with the manager, I was told the manager in a meeting off site. Asked for face towels on 3 different occasions but never received them. This is a beautiful place but majority of the workers are angry or just stare at you. They don’t smile or speak. There are a few a good workers here but not enough for me to EVER return or recommend this place to even my worst enemy. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Economy Rooms are nothing more than a small box to sleep in with no hot water, in great need of an update. We had to PAY to be moved to better conditions. The new room was 1000% better with hot water.

The view The entertainment staff with the green shirts on are wonderful, they smile, greet and try to make sure everyone is happy or having a great time. They seem to enjoy what they do. A few workers at the front desk are ok.

CHILDREN. ALTHOUGH THIS HOTEL CALLS ITSELF "ADULT ONLY", we met children twice in our less than a week stay at this hotel. Another thing, even though we arrived in the EVENING, our room wasn't ready yet, we had to wait for almost an hour (Even though we had driven for 5 hours before and just wanted to go and rest). After waiting, we got the best room, the terrace of which opened onto the courtyard of the restaurant's kitchen. CONSTANT NOISE FROM REFRIGERATORS, AIR CONDITIONERS, THE KITCHEN AND THE STAFF. When you go out on the terrace, the kitchen staff stare at you, so no privacy. Paid safe. The cocktails in the pool bar were not tasty, the staff is always waiting for tips, which is kind of RUDE.

I liked the view the most, which is visible from the hotel's 5 swimming pools. The Caribbean Sea here is wonderful, warm, full of crabs and fish. Renovated areas of the hotel, such as pool bar, reception, reception bar, gym. We also fell in love with the cocktails made at the reception bar. The security guards and staff at the main restaurant were always helpful and smiling.

Paid extra for a room with two double beds. On arrival we were allocated a room with one bed, when I complained I was made to feel like I was trying to get a free upgrade. Eventually given a room with two beds - directly above the kitchen, with associated cooking smells day and night. This situation was handled with very bad grace by reception staff and clearly wasn't a one-off; we spoke to Canadian guests who had a similar experience.

Nice hotel, reasonable food. Not too busy so no queuing at bars/restaurant. Nice pools, good dive centre on site.

The only thing I wish they could've included and it's very miniscule was a better wine selection being that I'm still young I prefer sweet wines and they had dry that older and elder people enjoy but aside from that everything was PERFECT! the staff were so helpful and very much on top of everything with what I needed. The HM resorts in general are amazing. The rooms very clean and I love that the cleaning services leave a cute design out of what they lay along the bed it's always a great treat to see.
