I can only highly recommend this nice place!!! It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood and the wonderful beach is in walking distance. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are bigger than usual and the bed is very comfortable. Gianni and his brother Massimo, are extremely kind... they let me feel very welcome and were careing about me in every case: they gave me laundry service, took me to amazing spots in the area, cooked very delicious Italian food and prepared a very good and various breakfast. Last but not least, Gianni organized my transport and even stand up at 4AM to bring me to the bus station - so kind! I felt more than home, because at home, I have to do everything by my own 😉! Thanks a lot for everything!!! 👍👍👍

The best hotel encountered on the road trip around Dominican Republic. Great owners, comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast. The design makes it seem like you are in a piece of Italy completely separated from the reality of Dominican Republic.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms even more so. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very large. We got a free update and the owners took us out to dinner several times ! I feel someone in the staff was a bit grumpy. I am not sure if certain things were lost in translation but at certain point I felt there was a bit of an attitude. As a honest and sincere constructive criticism, I recommend them to be a bit more open minded and give the benefits of the doubt to the patrons. As a matter of fact, I give the benefits of the doubt to that person since every other interaction was friendly.🙂

This is a great place to stay for what is offered around this town. The hotel is small, about 10 rooms max. Restaurant is top notch in comparison to what is available in the area. Specially for dinner. Some of the staff, special Andrea was a great host. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in Pedernales.

Wifi is slow, but was faster than I expected. It's slow throughout the country, pretty much. There's nothing the guys can do as it's the best they can get in this area. There are talks of fibre-optic being installed in the town, but it's probably a long way away.

The guys who run the place are very friendly. The bonus of the hotel also having a restaurant makes a huge difference as Pedernales isn't really set up for eating out every night. The meals were fantastic, home made, and a great price too. Viviana also did our washing as there are no laundrettes in Pedernales. We ate their meals every night and was never disappointed, always happy. The apartments are as quiet as can be, considering everybody in Dominican Republic has a very loud motorbike. Newly refurbished, very comfortable. The power was turned off in the town for some hours one day, but they have a generator on site. Very well prepared. I'd recommend everybody coming to Pedernales to stay here. I've already recommended somebody, so hopefully they'll have a new guest soon.
