Lack of food options for babies, unimpressive desserts intorms of tase, slow service, irregular room cleaning service. Also me and my family had food poisoning which made us use a very expensive medical services at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable room with a stunning view, big gym, amazing beach area with all facilities, large swimming pool, nice aqua park area, good variety of restaurants( especially Asian restaurant and buffet)

the only serious downside is quality of food. All restaurants are well below average and the chefs have completely no idea what they are cooking. Italian and Japanese restaurants do not even remind you of a real restaurant operated by Italians or japanese. If you live in Europe or big international cities and are used to high quality food a good chefs almost everywhere- you will have a tough time trying to find something that has any taste. Even burgers are dry and tasteless. Quality of coffee and all milk products is especially terrible. Milk (they use Rica brand that we have never heard of) has a very weird taste nothing similar to milk we are used to in the UK or EU or anywhere else to be honest. We struggled with food a lot, but then discovered that you take a taxi to Marina and eat out instead of using hotel food. Also most of the staff really do not speak English and almost never understand you correctly, except for the concierge and reception desk. It is quite annoying when every time you order something at the restaurant they just bring something completely different

More training, the people preparing food were extremely slow therefore there was always a long wait And they load the food with lots of salt.

Location good. But if you wait for preparing food like an omelette it took 20 min or more in line, and the line wasn’t long . The quality of food was good.

Pools are too cold - hotel should utilize solar power to heat the pools. Even the club pools were cold. Very few people used it. Whirlpools are too hot - it is uncomfortable to relax there. Some staff at the bar or reception were bored to serve us. Spotty Wi-Fi near the pool. AC in the main restaurant is set to too low for us - we sat outside regularly. Property is closed to public and UR not able to walk/run on the beach very far. You hit stones and guard forbidding you to go further. Because of that UR not able to walk to nearby streets/shops/town by yourself. There are none. The hotel area is secluded. UR caught in the resort. Your only chance is the buy one of the hotel organized trips.

Excellent room service - they cleaned the rooms properly and regularly restocked minibar. Attentive staff - especially Melvin during breakfast and lunch. Big pool - we had no trouble to find our spot Beach and the ocean Huge fitness

Our room wasn’t 100% clean when we arrived with hair in the shower and bird pop on the balcony but they gave us a Cabana for the day to apologize. The shower also smelt of drains/sewage and there was no bath which wasn’t ideal with a 1 year old baby. The staff & service are also a little inconsistent, most are very good but some feel like they don’t want to be there and are inattentive.

The facilities are amazing - one of the best Spa’s I’ve ever been to, an incredible pool and a good selection of restaurants. Lots of entertainment for kids too. Definitely worth upgrading for the Club level as Chinola restaurant is superb amongst the other perks.

There is nothing we didn't like. This was truly a great experience and we will be returning back.

Service was fantastic. The food was amazing. What stood out were the staff and employees so courteous, humble, and genuinely cared for their guests. We were at another resort LOPESEAN prior to coming to hyaat, and we felt a huge difference in service and convenience for families with kids.
