Suggestions: -To build something great in front of the hotel, just next to the water. At least a terrace. -Water pressure was too low, it was almost impossible to have shower, and sometimes there was no water for minutes. -It would be better if the room would be already cold and with more fresh air.. Some hours befors the arrival of the visitors. It took around the whole night until the air quality and temperature became all right.

The Host is a real Host, Ricardo is really welcoming each Guest just like a Family member or Friend. He speaks English very well too and takes care of each moment to satisfy the Guests' needs. The food is really good, take the local dishes from the kind lady and the recommendations to have some custom Italian-Dominican mixture and a big sip of Italian coffee. It may be not the cheapest food around but you get all value instead of jeopardying and illness. As well the transit and everything was very safe which is also important, the Owner can be trusted. Who is social, outgoing but respecful too. The coast was also more than nice, somewhat not the cleanest but pure nature, big waves and very scenic views! Just like (from) the perfectly managed garden of the hotel. The room was super nice too and more than clean, no any bugs, etc. The bed: comfortable. Aircon also made well. If every investor in tourism would be like Ricardo, the industry would just rise.

Nearby Playa del Caribe is small and covered in sargassum for part of the year, so this is not a beach vacation destination. There is also a Dominican club next door that plays bachata all day, but it seems rather family-friendly and the volume isn't too loud; we couldn't hear it at all at night.

This place is a nice getaway from Santo Domingo, a real bed & breakfast that feels more European than Dominican (the owner is Italian). You can sit and enjoy coffee in the garden while watching the waves, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy a wonderfully home-cooked meal with local ingredients. Roberto and his staff were very friendly and accommodating and care a lot about quality. Be aware that not every room has air conditioning, so it's especially recommended to visit in more moderate months. The food and coffee are fantastic and you can watch the chef prepare them. I recommend this for couples looking for a getaway. We felt very safe and welcome here and we would definitely stay here again!

A real authentic colonial style hotel. You have WiFi but for the rest no other technological stuff and that makes it really relaxed! Also the owner, Roberto, could not be there, so he sent us a few days before a text by WhatsApp to ask us at what time we are coming and to explain to us how everything works and to tell us that Pablo will be there for us. Really nice and a great personal touch! And Pablo was really a good host! He made us immediately feel at home. You can ask for whatever you want and he will try to arrange this for you together with the two other ladies who work in the hotel/kitchen. Also the breakfast was delicious with the fresh fruit! They have a beautiful garden with a pool and it's near the sea. The total experience in this hotel was so relaxed and welcoming, also because of Pablo and the amazing location of the hotel!

Nothing, really.

I am not sure where to begin. The proprietor, Roberto, was an accommodating and excellent host. My flight was delayed and he assured me that someone would be available to welcome me upon arrival. The room was furnished with a king bed, chest of drawers, a table and chairs. there was also a microwave and small fridge. outside my room was a small balcony where I would sit in the mornings and evenings and enjoy the sounds of the sea. This is not the Ritz Carlton and you are not paying those prices. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts there every morning.

The triple room was a double. We had to pay for another room to accommodate our teenager and the whole thing turned out very expensive. There were no kitchen equipment at all, so you could barely used the kitchen, save for the fridge. The area itself was very grotty, close to a busy road, and you had to walk through rubbish to get to the small beach, where the waves were too high for swimming.

The room was fine but it was sold as a triple - two adults were expected to sleep in the same bed as our 17-year old! There was no extra bed.

Not sure if there is a safer walking route to the bigger beach. We had to walk on the shoulder side of the road with oncoming traffic.

The property is small, dog friendly, quiet, private, and clean. Rooms and beds are spacious. Roberto, the owner, was very accommodating, polite, and attentive. Staff were very friendly. The two beaches nearby were quiet and not overcrowded.
