My room was smaller than I was expecting, with no window. The kitchen was a shared kitchen and a bit messy.

The mattresses of the beds need to be changed or upgraded as they are a bit worn out.

The location is great and the staff is super friendly. It is a safe neighborhood with a colmado super closw. Luis Dias', a famous Dominican musician, old house is just around the corner.

The kitchen was not clean, we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Very specifically all the cupboard doors and handles had visible, accumulated grime. The fridge was worse. Inside and out. The water cooler was also in desperate need of cleaning. It would have been really to have a hand towel in the bathroom and something for the floor when exiting the shower. The bathroom door also needed a good scrub, it was white and also had visible accumulated grime on and around the handle The hallway between the common area and kitchen (with the doors to three of the rooms) is open air. A floor squeegee would be great when it’s raining to move puddles of water from the room entrance, and a door mat of some sort for inside the room. It rained quite a bit when we were there and we were constantly dealing with a puddle of water from our shoes inside our bedroom door. Being very specific with feedback in hopes that management might see if because it would all be very quick to remedy.

Location is fabulous, on the edge of Zona Colonial, a quick walk in to La ciudad and a safe neighbourhood. Panadaria on the corner and great colmados on the close corners. Overall the space is bright and nice with lots of plants and good common space if you want to hang and chat with other guests. Basic rooms, but they are clean with a/c and fans. Bathroom was clean also. Water cooler for common use. Friendly helpful staff.

The size of the bathroom was more than tiny, one can barely move in there and if you are a large person, you'll find it hard to move around at all. The sink in the bathroom is the size of my palm (literally)... never seen anything smaller in my life. Also the air-conditioning is not particularly effective and if it wasn't for the 2 ceiling fans, it would have probably been hard to sleep in there in the melting heat from outside.

There was no plug by the bed, there was no side lights in the bedroom but rather just one main light which isn’t relaxing in the evenings, and the staff didn’t have a clue about any buses to other towns or cities and couldn’t provide me with any information.

Stable hot water in the shower which is quite rare in the DR, comfortable beds, good wifi connection, and the rooms have air conditioning
