Staying at bahia bouganville adults only was an expirience like no other, the views, the daily activities and the amazing shows from the property are just worth your stay. The meals and cocktails offered by the all day buffet and the ala carte restaurants were an international expirience for the taste buds. Of course lets not forget the exceptional kind staff who were there to help us around the clock , teach and share the true expirience of how the dominicanos live in this lovely island. Over all loved it and will come back.

Property is well maintained I had and excellent time at Don Pablo Restaurant and the diner on the beach was perfect just make sure you bring your favorite drink otherwise you will get the same in house drink

One cannot compare this beach at LaRomana to the Bavaro beach at Punta Cana but it’s still a nice beach.

The grounds were beautiful and although not huge very nice for walks. Liked the idea of two wonderful pools one for louder fun activities and one for those looking for quiet relaxation with both serving good drinks. The beach and water is not “pristine” but still very nice with warm water, modest waves, clean sand, many shady palms and ample lounge chairs at pools and beach.

Both our rooms have phones that did not work at all so whenever we needed something from the front desk we had to walked there and they were not enough plugs in the room for the amount of guets each can hold

They were always people ready to help me and serve me. In addition, when acommodations were require I always received a Yes for an asnwer. There were a variety of options to choose that were the same quality

I would suggest becasue of the bugs (flies) that fruits will be covered (it could be a mesh covering, where people can still see what fruits are available), the same with the juice. When I went to the buffet area, I saw flies flying around the juices.

I really enjoyed our time at Bahia Principe. The buttler and the lady that took care of our room were great. When the staff recognize us walking around, they will smile and greet us. Felt like home.

To go to the theme restaurants you need reservation, and a week before the travel there isn't availability anymore. The beach is not great, is a bay, so forget about caribbean cristal/blue waters

The room was big and confortable. Quiet and nice environment near to the rooms and party mode in the pool area with the great animation of the enterteiment staff. A wonderful weekend with my husband, we will back!

The beach was the only downside. Most people will not want to get in the water as it is the dirtiest water I’ve ever seen. But everything else was great. Slight delay in delivering more water bottles to our room, but we were able to ask the maid and she quickly got us some so no big deal. Our flight was overbooked and we lost our seats so we missed the first 24 hours of our stay. We made a request to the resort and booking.com to shift our check-in/check-out forward a day so we wouldn’t miss out on a day that we had paid for. However the resort and booking.com just sent us back and forth and it was impossible to contact anyone with power. We ended up needing to pay for another night despite paying for 7 nights and staying 7 nights. Also just be aware that like the entire island, you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet.

We had many options of things to do. The buffet and restaurants were so good. The AC always worked, the room was always cleaned and we actually though the bed was comfortable. There was a tropical storm so the power went out briefly but came back after about 3 seconds so they must have a generator. The property was extremely well kept. All the staff was friendly and always willing to help. No one was ever asking for a tip, however I highly recommend carrying around a few dollars to tip whoever you deem helpful. Because whatever you paid to stay here for a week is about what the servers make in a year without tips. Very nice rooms with modern bathrooms. We found that most of the staff spoke enough English to communicate effectively with us. However it was helpful to know a little Spanish for some simple requests. Our excursion with Coming2 was worth it. We got to snorkel in the clear blue water and see some amazing marine life.

The beach water The hotel not investing private workers to clean the beach for the guests 😒 😑 🙄 😐 they didn't bother in trying to clean it themselves instead of waiting for the government to clean it They lose guests that way, and everyone take pictures of the water and send to friends and family, making less of the hotel 🏨 Overall, it's a paradise

the staff was very helpful. nice room food and service. staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. I don’t drink alcohol and they made sure I felt comfortable and got me virgin drinks. food was so good at all the restaurants. and out of all the Bahia principe resorts I’ve been to, this was one of the best ones entertainment wise. which I was surprised because I would expect more out of the punta cana ones. will be coming back.

don't have the same drinks in all the bars, sometimes the staff had to borrow from another bar. Mattresses should be more confortable.

the food was okay, lots of it but bland in the buffet. the dinners you have to book asap for a restaurant. I was only there for 3nights 4days and I could only get a dinner reservation on the last night because it was all booked up. the one night we did get the last reservation for 9:00 and was at the steak house, the meat was amazing but the sides were cold.
