Spacious room, nicely decorated, unmatched view. I read the bad reviews about the food, I do not know what people usually eat, but for me the food quality was far over the expectations. Beautiful beach. And with the rented car you can reach in 20-30 minutes one of the most beautiful beaches as well as other amazing trekking places in DR if the hotel beach is not enough.

Hotel with a beautiful location/view. I had a room with a sea view and that is really worth the extra amount. Staff is very friendly, everything well maintained. Buffet fine, but standard items that I (only had a three-day stay) quickly recognized from previous evenings. Disadvantage: a lot of stairs. Not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Dinner. My only but big dissapointment. Lunch was awesome though and breakfast just ok, could be so much better. We didn’t get sick, but food lacked flavour. But I loved the place so much it wasnt a problem.

Oh my favourite place of all DR. What a gem. I didn’t expect too much reading the reviews but oh! It was just great. First of all, the location. I have never been to a hotel that has such a 250degree views of the sea. That was the number one. The place is so well designed you feel like you are almost on your own and they were sold out! So many areas to chill, on so many levels. Wherever I looked it was just beutiful. Even a space behind the building. Even the parking lot looked like a garden! Just amazing. The staff is also amazing and will be happy to help. My mum didn’t like her toom so they changed it at no extra charge(we were glad to pay but didn’t have to). The lunch was excellent a la carte. Dinner was meh. Breakfast ok. I loved the locations of the restaurants. The rooms were a bit old school in design(not my favourite style) but of all the hotels we went to it was by far the best kept rooms. You know that feeling when everything just works and everything is there when you need it. Like working a/c, and quiet, a lovely coffee maker, a good magnyfying mirror in the bathroom, a lovely ice box… etc etc. The bartenders know their cocktails too and the bar is so well priced.

Food is delicious but not suitable if you have any food allergies. Allergens are not labeled at all. Also, no guidance from the kitchen staff. Lobby staff and guest relation promised help, but nothing happened even after multiple approaches. Only one shop in the hotel area, which is pretty small and expensive (bring enough sun screen, snorcheling equip, etc.)

Hotel location is separated as it seems and thus very quiet. Beach is super clean and beautiful. No sales people in the whole hotel area (besides the travel guides in the hotel lobby that guests can approach if needed). At the beach you can enjoy the sound of the sea, while the pool area offers a great animation program and music. The hotel offers an outstanding view to the sea. Chance to see some whales if you are lucky (bring binoculars). Free shuttle to the close by Baccardi Island.

I’m very happy with the overall experience, I must mentioned that before my stay I read a couple of worrying reviews about food intoxication, this has nothing to do with hotel food, if you have a sensitive stomach just avoid drinking tap water and ice and you’ll be fine.

Absolutely amazing experience. Attentive and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel is unbeatable with view on Samana bay. It has a private beach and a free of charge transport to the nearby cayo levantado island. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We fell in love with the hotel and its location so much that we decided to prolong our stay for a few more days. The food was great and diverse and the service was impeccable. there are plenty of different cocktails and local premium drinks included in the all inclusive offer. The hotel threw a wonderful dinner and experience for new year’s eve. everything was magical. We are already looking forward to repeating our stay next year.

I think maybe the only thing they need to work on is the French restaurant and the Italian restaurant, but the Brazilian restaurant is great.

The most memorial thing from this hotel is the staff, the people that works their are the best! I wanted to say big Thanks to Emmanuelle from guest services, she did everything to makes us fill at home. Also big big big thanks to the Entertainment Staff: Yunely, Anyory and Daniel. They were super fun and we had a great relationship with them (also we went to couple of beaches with them around the hotel on their day off) this was the best memory from Bahia Samana. Also big tnx to Ramon from the reception with his professional and warm hospitality. Nicaela from the dinners restaurants, she was super nice to us and always with a big smile. Jose from breakfast buffet that every morning was kind to us. Ariel the lifeguard always helps us and gave me a snorkeling glasses. The hotel is built on a big mountain and all the room have a perfect view on the ocean which is crazy beautiful. The hotel give you a personal experience.
