The mini-fridge was not cold. It was barely cool. The kabuki restaurant had mediocre food (at best), the chairs were exceptionally uncomfortable, and the cook was far too loud for a small, enclosed space. Will not go back to that restaurant.

Steak house was amazing. Loved the pools and beach. Food was mostly great with a few exceptions. Really impressed with the cleanliness and staff. Really appreciated Pablo’s assistance when we needed an emergency dentist. We were celebrating our honeymoon loved that our butler Pablo decorated our room, chilled our champagne, and set up the hot tub in our room for us!

Seaweed on the beach was terrible, no attempt to clean at all while we were there. We walked west two resorts over and they had cleaned theirs, it was really nice.

I think for the price there could’ve been more top shelf liquor options. Also there should be night time swimming allowed in the adult areas.

My room floor was a bit dirty upon arrival. My baby was crawling and had dirty feet and knees. The next day, the butler told me the housekeeper was gonna come and never showed up. He also called me at 11:15pm, ot sure why. I was sleeping. The facilities are a bit outdated (90's). Beach cabanas have stains and mold. The hotel room towel looks rundown, no longer white. Also, the pillows are not comfortable.

The staff from the restaurants are super friendly and the food was delicious.

What I like about the property was the amount of pools, the gracious butlers and staff, the clean beach, the fact that you can go to any of the Mirage properties and the roof top hot tub.

Only complaint I had about the trip was the food. There are all kinds of food there but a lot of it was cold. That was consistent over several of the restaurants. Other than that very nice!

The food is good, especially if you get the freshly made items but it is cooked on a large scale. So, just have reasonable expectations. I would recommend the steakhouse and hibachi. The market is good just be selective and get items freshly cooked. The staff is great and work really hard .

Another fabulous vacation at Majestic. This was our 2nd time at the Mirage (5 times at Elegance). Perfect weather March 2-9, 85 degrees and sunny every day. With the exception of one 10 minute afternoon shower, the weather was perfection. The Grounds: Meticulously kept, sparkling clean with beautiful beaches that are groomed daily. Plenty of chairs and bali beds at the beach and pools. Drink servers are consistently making their rounds at both the beach and pools. The Rooms: Clean, spacious and comfortable. The pillows are fantastic. Room amenities include a coffee maker, nespresso machine, tea kettle and a fridge. They also provide plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash and toothbrush/toothpaste kits. We wanted for nothing. The Food: Buffets are very good. As is usually the case with any buffet, there are some things that aren't great but for the most part the offerings were good. I like that they cook-to-order fresh chicken breast, steak, tuna steak and mahi mahi. The buffets also offer an abundance of healthy options including fresh fruit, vegetables, salads and a seafood bar. The dessert bar, especially in the Marketplace Buffet is unbelievable. Based on several past bad experiences we passed on the Italian restaurant and opted for Sushi (no reservations needed), the Steakhouse, French and Seaside restaurants. All meals were fantastic. Service was impeccable. The People: Junior, our butler, was unbelievably attentive. So helpful and a joy to talk to every day. Juan Bernardo at the pool is one of our favorite people at Majestic. We just love him so much. He took wonderful care of us as usual and we looked forward to talking with him everyday. Isabel at the spa has magic hands. I had 2 massages with her and they were the best massages I've ever had. Blue at the Fitness Center was so friendly and helpful. I liked practicing my Spanish with him everyday.

Upon arrival the rooms we had booked were not available (told they had overbooked). We were allocated rooms at the back of the hotel and told we would be moved the next day & our butler would help. No message from butler in the morning, so went to reception & told our butler was not due to arrive at work till 3pm & would not be moved until day after. Eventually moved rooms at 5pm on day 2. No apologies or compensation. Later found out that most people stay 4 / 5 nights and tend to return regularly. Upon return they are given thank you gifts, including complimentary Spa treatments. It is clear that management bend over back wards for these returning guests, rather than first timers, who book 2 rooms for 2 weeks.

The food in all the restaurants was excellent and, in general, the staff could not do enough for you.

I really can't think of anything. It was a wonderful place.

There was always something to do. You could find something to eat or drink any time day or night. The family suite was awesome. 2 full bathrooms,walkout patio with whirlpool tub,Bali bed,lounge chairs and could get in pool right from room. The fruit and seafood were awesome. The fruity drinks so yummy and presidente beer was great. Coffee shop had great options, sports bar fun with good food and restaurants all were good. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Always willing to help you out in any way. They keep it so nice and clean and are all very hard working. Just a fun environment. This was not just a family vacation it was an experience of paradise.

We didn't encounter anything that we did not like.

We LOVED the Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana. A large group of us went to another resort in Punta Cana two years back, and from that experience, we were hesitant to come back. However, that changed the moment we arrived. From the staff and their service to the beach, food, drinks and nightly entertainment, everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed how the Mirage is situated next to two other Majestic Resorts that guests can walk over to and enjoy some of the amenities. There's a different vibe at each resort, providing you and your group different options which is awesome. There's always something to do at one of the resorts. The staff really took this place over the top. Delvin, Ramon and others on the entertainment team kept the place lively. They always greeted guests with a smile and made you feel welcome. The staff working the beach were very attentive and remembered your name and order. Hands-down a 10/10 resort.
